Next on the itinerary is Almora. Boasting of some incredible views of the Himalayas, cultural heritage, handicrafts and cuisine, Almora has a host of attractions for every type of tourist. Here you can visit local temples, go trekking and shop for handicrafts and local products in the markets nearby. If nothing, unwind with a cup of coffee and book, as you watch stunning vistas from the balcony of your room.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi – Nainital (320 Kms - 9 Hours)

  Drive down to Nainital (320 kms/9 hrs.) after breakfast. Check in at the resort and spend your evening unwinding and relaxing. Have a delicious dinner and spend the night at the resort.
  
  Note: Instead of Nainital, you may opt for Sattal or Bhimtal.

• Day 2 : Visit Naini Lake, Bhutia Market and other Attractions

  Have your breakfast at the resort. Gear up for an exploration of famous attractions of Nainital. Start from Naini Lake. Surrounded by lush green trees, boats (for tourists) and markets, the lake itself will take an entire day to be explored properly.
  
  Go for boating if you want to take in the views of the hills. Shop for woollen clothes from Tibet and Bhutia Market and do try lip-smacking momos from 'Sonam Momos' (the authentic one is in the middle of the market).
  
  Apart from this, just a stroll around the nearby markets will take you through beautiful churches and mosques. Stop at these and click some insta-worthy pictures. During sunset, the lake gains a darker yet beautiful hue. Pause for a moment and soak in this vista.
  
  Head back to the resort and have a delicious dinner at the resort.

• Day 3 : Nainital to Almora (65 Km, Approx. 2 Hours Drive)

  Wake up to a warm and sumptuous breakfast. Today, you will be driven to your next destination - Almora. As the latter is located at a distance of just 65 km, you will reach at your hotel at afternoon. After checking in at the hotel, you may spend the rest of the day at your own leisure or head out and explore this Kumaoni town.
  
  A lesser known hill station among its contemporaries, Almora has a charm of its own. With fewer touristy crowds, you get to enjoy long and peaceful strolls along the streets, which are often lined with long pine trees. There are several trekking trails around the town as well. However, if you are in the mood to splurge, we recommend a visit to Lalal Bazaar. Having a plethora of handicraft shops, this cobbled-street, pedestrian-only market has plenty of beautiful objects. It's beauty enhances after sunset so you can stay here till the sun goes down.
  
  Return to the resort in the evening and have a delectable cuisine inspired by the flavours of the Kumaon region. Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 4 : Almora to Delhi (350 Km, Approx. 8 Hours 40 Minutes Drive)

  Have your breakfast at the resort. Check out from the resort/hotel before 11 AM and leave for Delhi.
