Day 1 : Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Trang An Grottoes
In the morning, we pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi then drive to Ninh Binh (about a two-hour drive from Hanoi) to pay a visit at Hoa Lu – the former capital of Vietnam. On arrival, you will visit two temples, one of them dedicated to Emperor Dinh and the other in memory of Emperor Le, followed by a brief visit to the remains of the Old Palace. The visit offers a chance to know more about part of feudal dynasties and historical periods in Vietnamese history. Leave Hoa Lu to Trang An and having lunch in a local restaurant and enjoy lunch served with goat meat which is famous as the local specialty. Take the amazing boat trip to visit Trang An grottoes which is a gathering of 31 valleys, 50 cross-water caves, and home to 600 kinds of flora and over 200 kinds of fauna, many of them in the Red Book of Vietnam. While rowing through Trang An grotto in the quiet, fresh air of the highlands, with only the sound of birds and the oars stirring the clear water and surrounded by magnificent forested mountains upon which graze white goats, visitors enjoy a heaven on earth. Stay overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 2 : Ninh Binh – Ha Long Bay
Morning drive to Ha Long city (220 km) to visit one of Wonder of the world: Ha Long Bay. At noon, get on a nice junk cruise to take a Ha Long Bay cruise over 2,000 islands that just out of the sea to provide a spectacular natural environment. Boarding the Junk, a welcome drink is served before sitting down to a sumptuous seafood lunch in the dining room. We cruise through the magnificent bay of Ha Long that’s declared a World Heritage Site in 1994. A fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay to see Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Sail island. Visit Sung Sot cave and a swim at Soi Sim beach or TiTov beach. In the evening, dinner will be served on boat, before settling into our comfortable cabins for the night. Stay overnight on board.
Day 3 : Ha Long Bay– Hanoi
Enjoy our last morning on board to admire the spectacular view of the bay. Visit Luon cave on small bamboo boat, then cruise to pass so that tourists can have look Man’s head island, Tortoise island from the Junks. A brunch is served on board as we cruise slowly back to the harbor, where we will check out and tranfer you back to Hanoi. Stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4 : Hanoi – Dong Hoi – Phong Nha Caves
Morning drive to Noi Bai Airport to catch flight VN 8591 (08:05 – 09:30) or VN 1593 (07:00 – 08:00) to Dong Hoi. Upon arrival, you will explore the most impressive Phong Nha caves (50 km about the city, 45 minutes driving). After 25 minutes on boat, visitors will arrive Phong Nha cave, take a couple hours to see the cave. This cave is called as water cave, is famous for its rock formation which has been given names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha”. Afternoon, visit Paradise cave – the longest dry cave in Asia (located in Phong Nha – Ke bang National Park’s core zone, 25km about Phong Nha cave, 75km about Dong Hoi and 1h20 minutes driving) at the rest of the day. Stay overnight in Dong Hoi.
Day 5 : Dong Hoi – Hue
Visit La Vang Cathedral or Quang Tri Citadel before transferring to Hue (170km). Upon arrival, we visit Tu Duc and Khai Dinh King’s Mausoleum. Enjoy Special Royal Dinner on Perfume River with live traditional music performances (Be a King & Queen in Royal Dinner with Royal long Dresses). Stay overnight in Hue.
Day 6 : Hue
We have whole day to visit one of World’s Heritage in Hue city – the former Kingdom of the 143 year Nguyen Dynasty. Have a boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Royal Thien Mu pagoda and Minh Mang Mausoleum. In the afternoon, visit Imperial Citadel – the most important part of Hue city and Dong Ba market. Stay overnight in Hue.
Day 7 : Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An Ancient Town
Mornig drive to Hoi An via the imposing Hai Van mountain pass, a part of Truong Son mountain range running down to the sea to cut in the high way. Stop over at Marble Mountains and Non Nuoc Beach in Danang City. Upon arrival, visit Hoi An ancient town – another World’s Heritage site of a forgotten sea port from the 17th century. Visit the Chinese temple, Japanese bridge, and an ancient house of mixing style from Vietnam, China and Japan. Stay overnight in Hoi An.
Day 8 : Hoi An – My Son – Da Nang – Departure
In the morning, visit another World’s Heritage site in the South West of Danang, My Son Holly Land – the religious center of Powerful Champa Kingdom from 6th to 16th century, with relics of temples, steles and carving statues showing a thriving life of people here at once time. Free at leisure until transfer you to Da Nang Airport for your departure flight. End of the tour.
