Day 1 : Arrival
On arrival at Delhi Rly. Station/Airport, transfer to Shimla 7238 fts / 2206 mts– the former summer capital of British India & now a capital of Himachal Pradesh, set amidst the snow cappedshivalik mountain ranges offering some stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Arrive and check-in to the hotel. Evening free for shopping at Mall by walk. Overnight stay at Shimla.
Day 2 : Shimla Local Sightseeing
After breakfast excursion to Kufri 9000 fts / 2800 mts– famous for its Himalayan National Park, enjoy a pony or a yak ride on your own around the park. One can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri and visit Nag Devta Mandir. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of ious places in and around. Shimla mosques built in 1830, Vice regal Lodge built in 1885, Christ Church built in 1844, The Gaiety Theatre- the first beauty contest of world was supposed to start 1887, The Scandal Point, KaaliBaari temple and Jakhoo temple if time permits. Evening is free to explore the famous shopping Plaza of the North The Mall. Overnight stay at Shimla.
Day 3 : Shimla - Manali 248 kms/9 hrs
After breakfast transfer to Manali 13500 fts / 4115 mts – a high altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh, on the bank of Beas River. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. On the way you can visit Kullu Shawl Factory Bhuttico at Kullu valley and Vaishno Mata Temple. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure to explore the beautiful hill station of Manali on your own. Overnight stay at Manali.
Day 4 : Manali Local Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for Manali Local sightseeing, covering Hidimba Temple, Tibetan monastery, Manu Temple, Vashist Temple, Handicraft Centre and Club House. Evening free for shopping and stroll along the streets of Manali for a relaxing experience. Afterwards, return back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Manali.
Day 5 : Excursion to Solang Valley & Rohtang Pass 56 kms/3 hrs one way
After early breakfast enjoy a breathtaking drive to Rohtang Pass* At own cost. Situated at an altitude of 3979 mtrs above sea level and 51 kms outside Manali is the mighty Rohtang Pass - the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti valley. If roads to Rohtang Pass are closed, then visit upto Snow Point where ponies / horses can be hired directly. The Magnificent views and natural beauty are a never-ending source of delight. On you’re descends to Manali, halt at the Marhi, Ralha falls, Nehru Kund and also visit Solang Valley, where you can opt for adventure sports like Para Gliding, Zorbing or Skiing subject to snow on direct-payment basis. After completing the sightseeing, back to the hotel and rest for some time. Later, go for an evening walk in the Mall Road, which is among the most famous attractions of this place. This road with numerous shops, branded outlets, eateries is the best place to spend an evening in leisure. Thereafter, return to the hotel and overnight stay at Manali. *Note: Excursion to Rohtang is not included in the itinerary because NGT has restricted the number of vehicle to this place and it entirely depends upon the permission on a particular day. In that case travelling expenses to Rohtang Pass will be borne by the client.
Day 6 : Excursion to Kullu & Manikaran 82 kms/3 hrs one way
After breakfast starts for an excursion trip to Manikaran and Kullu. Manikara 5200 fts / 1585 mtsa pilgrimage centre for Hindus and Sikhs. It is located in the Parvati Valley along the banks of river Parvati, northeast of Bhuntar in the Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. It has many Temples and a Gurudwara. There are temples of Lord Rama, Krishna, and Vishnu. The area is well-known for its natural hot-water springs and its beautiful landscape. After sightseeing at Manikaran, we would transfer you to Manali via Kullu known as the "Valley of Gods"and veritable jewel in the crown of Himachal Pradesh with breathtaking beauty of its marvelous landscapes, the hospitality of its people, their distinctive lifestyle and rich culture which enchanted travelers so much. On the way you can visit Kullu Shawl Factory Bhuttico at Kullu valley and Vaishno Mata Temple. Evening back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Manali.
Day 7 : Manali - Chandigarh 291 kms/10 hrs
After breakfast transfer to Chandigarh 1053 ft / 321 mts- the 1st planned modern city of India designed by the French after the mother goddess of powerarchitect Le Corbusier. It serves as a capital of the states of Punjab and Haryana. The city was named, Chandi, whose temple Chandimandu is a feature of the new city. If time permits, you can go for some shopping on your own. Visit Sector 17 and 22 that are some of the popular shopping zones of Chandigarh. Overnight stay at Chandigarh.
Day 8 : Chandigarh - Delhi Rly. Station/DEL Airport 260 kms/6 hrs
After breakfast check-out from hotel and take the departure transfers to Delhi Rly. Station/Airport for your onward journey.
