The nation of Nepal, which is home to Mt. Everest, is renowned for its amazing natural beauty, magnificent wildlife, and rich cultural legacy. As a result, it is a very popular travel destination with tourists with a variety of interests. We begin our tour in Kathmandu, where we explore the old city with its cobblestone lanes, ancient temples, and bustling bazaars brimming with shops selling shawls, carpets, and trekking equipment. The 2,600-year-old Buddhist stupa Swayambhunath Stupa is a well-liked tourist attraction. It is set on a beautiful hillside and has the eyes of Buddha painted on its top so that tourists can see the upright behavior of the valley's occupants.
The Phulchowki mountain is the tallest of the hills that encircle the Kathmandu valley. Southeast of the valley are some great viewpoints and a popular hiking destination. The forests of Phulchowki are a popular location for birding. The Royal Botanical Garden at the Godavari, which is situated at the base of the hill, is home to more than 100 different bird species, including the Spiny Babbler, Tibetan Siskin, and others.
The huge mudflats, reed beds, and freshwater marshes that make up Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve are located in the Sapta Kosi River floodplain in the eastern Terai. It is recognized, together with the Koshi Barrage, as an Important Bird Area. Riverine areas are home to numerous species of wetlands birds. Then, after leaving the hustle and bustle of the city, we journey to the remote Chitwan National Park. Six exciting hours are spent traveling via mountain roads, little villages, and vistas that are surrounded by breathtaking scenery. More bird species (almost 480) have been identified in Chitwan than in any other region of Nepal because of the range of ecosystems in the area and its location in a tropical lowland. We may expect to see one-third of this during the course of our two nights.
Numerous other critically endangered creatures, including the Indian Rhinoceros, Wild Boar, Sambar, Muntjac, Spotted and Hog Deer, as well as Rhesus and Common Langur Monkeys, can be found in the park. Other animals that can occasionally be seen include tigers, leopards, sloth bears, gaurs (Asian bison), marsh muggers, and fish-eating Gharial crocodiles. To explore the park, we'll take canoes, jeeps, elephants, and foot. Visits to the elephant breeding facility are unquestionably the most well-liked activity in Chitwan, but we may also spend some time taking part in other relaxing activities like village excursions and cultural events. We might set up a trip for you to visit Tharu communities and get a taste of their way of life.
