Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Phoenix, AZ

  Welcome to Phoenix!Explore the Sonoran Desert on a sunset jeep tour with guide to provide interpretive insight about the unique flora and fauna of this fragile ecosystem.Accommodation: Hyatt House Scottsdale Old Town

• Day 2 : Monument Valley

  After breakfast, depart for Monument Valley. Visit to local school or family for craft or cooking demonstration (pending confirmation). Late afternoon guided jeep tour in Monument Valley accompanied by local Navajo guide with sunset dinner in the valley.Accommodation: camping Monument Valley

• Day 3 : Four Corners and Mesa Verde

  Drive to Mesa Verde. Stop enroute at Four Corners monument, the only place where you can stand on four states simultaneously.At Mesa Verde we meet our local expert guide, who will provide insight about the developments of the highly skilled Native American communities that made this area home. Included in our exploration of archeological sites are cliff dwellings. Visit to Spruce Tree House and Cliff Palace (requires climbing ladders).Tonight our comfortable lodge atop the mesa provides stunning valley views and evening stargazing possibilities with typical clear skies and location removed from lights of town. Accommodation: Far View Lodge in Mesa Verde NP

• Day 4 : Moab

  After breakfast, drive to Moab with a stop to explore Newspaper Rock, a well preserved site of petroglyphs displaying rock art from cultures dating up to 1500 years ago.After a stop in Moab for lunch, we continue to Arches NP for late afternoon. With more than 2,000 natural stone arches and a vast array of other unique rock formations, there is no shortage of amazing scenery. Sunset hike (with snacks) to delicate Arch (3 miles, 2.5-3 hours).Our centrally located Moab hotel provides chance to explore local restaurants and shops independently. Accommodation: Camping, or Red Stone Inn, or Best Western Plus Canyonlands Inn, Moab

• Day 5 : Moab

  There will be a choice of two exciting options today. You can choose half day river float on CO River. Expert river guides will share stories about this mighty river and the unique geologic formations along the river. Or, half day jeep tour into the back country of Canyonlands NP where our expert guide will help us investigate the unique geologic features and evidence of ancient Ancestral Pueblo culture.Additional option for overnight bush-camp with jeep tour.

• Day 6 : Boulder, UT

  Today we head to a ranch set in the Grand Staircase, where we’ll have a chance to ride horses and explore the area’s natural beauty of aspen, pine, and unique red rock geology.Accommodation: Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch (cabins or luxury tipis)

• Day 7 : Boulder, UT

  Day to explore the areas natural beauty or relax at the ranch.Accommodation: Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch (cabins or luxury tipis)

• Day 8 : Zion National Park

  Today we explore Zion NP with towering pink, white, and orange sandstone cliffs towering more than 1,000 feet above the valley floor. A great way to explore the park is a hike at the Narrows, where much of the trail is walking up the Virgin River.Tonight enjoy stories and meal around campfire.Accommodation: camping

• Day 9 : Las Vegas

  Today we head to the excitement of Las Vegas. Afternoon to enjoy the pool, shopping, or seeking out the varied thrill rides, such as a roller coaster through Manhattan at the New York-New York casino.Evening to explore the bright lights or any one of the city’s extravaganza shows.Accommodation: Bally’s or Golden Nugget
