Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival At Cochin

  Arrival at Kochi International Airport/Railway station transfer to Hotel. Afternoon you can go for the sightseeing of Cochin. Here you can see the St Francis Church, the oldest Church in India, 500 year old Portuguese Houses, Chinese fishing nets, 16th century Synagogue, Jew Town and Mattancherry Palace, built by Portuguese, this Palace contains some of India’s most beautiful murals. Evening go for shopping. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 2 : Cochin Local Sightseeing

  Afternoon breakfast, you can go for sightseeing of Cochin which includes the Jewish Synagogue, Mattanchery Palace, St.Francis Church and the Chinese Fishing Nets. In the evening visit the famous dance drama of Kerala, the Kathakali. This dance is characterized by artistic gesticulations, amazing costumes and very extensive make-up. The stories are mostly taken from the Hindu epics of Mahabharatha and Ramayana. Overnight at the Hotel.

• Day 3 : Cochin - Munnar (130 Km)

  Morning drive to Munnar covering a distance of 130 kms / 4 hrs enroute visit Cheyyappara Waterfalls. On the way to Munnar you can see tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lush green hills, a place so difficult to describe, very low population too far from pollution, most of the area covered by Tata tea. On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight Stay At Hotel.

  Morning sightseeing in Munnar which includes Raja Malai, a top peak of Munnar where you may see Neel Thar (mountain goats), Pothamedu, Mattupetty, Eco-Point etc. You can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional). Overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 5 : Thekkady (Periyar)

  Morning after breakfast continue to Thekkady the famous wild life sanctuary of South India. On arrival check in at hotel. Periyar wildlife sanctuary, home to nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more. After noon Visit spice plantations like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estates etc Overnight Stay At Hotel.

• Day 6 : Thekkady (Periyar)

  Today morning you can go to see the rare species of plantations and animals. Afternoon visit spice plantation like cardamom, Pepper, Coffee, and tea estate etc… On way back to Hotel you could stop the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 7 : Thekkady - Kumarakom

  Today morning after breakfast drive to Kumarakom. On arrival check in to a beautiful Backwater Resort. Afternoon free to relax at the resort. Overnight stay At Hotel.

  Today morning after breakfast you can board a A/c Houseboat of Kerala Style. Rest of the day is spent cruising through the backwaters of Alleppey. This will be a fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters. Stay overnight in hotel.
