Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : The Tour Starts

  The tour starts early in the morning at 6:00 am with your departure by jeep to the campsite, 60 km outside of Jaisalmer. Breakfast is served at the camp in time to watch the stunning sunrise.
  
  8:00 am to 12:00 noon - The adventure begins with your first ride of the camel safari taking you to a visit of Unda village (a traditional Rajput village) and later a visit of Bheelo ki Dhani (a village of tribal people).
  
  12:00 noon to 3:00 pm - Lunch followed by rest in the shade of trees near the oasis because the sun is fierce at this time of the day.
  
  3:00 pm to 5:00 pm – The afternoon trek sets off from Koda village (Mixed caste village) and on your ride through the isolated Khayala sand dunes you can watch native wild life and villages.

  Your trek continues to take you across the desert and you stop to watch the magical sunset before arriving at the campsite for your first night under the stars. After your day’s desert experiences you can enjoy watching your mouth-watering dinner being freshly prepared for you over the camp fire and afterwards, when sleeping beneath the star studded sky on your clean bed roll you can dream the dreams of the desert.

• Day 2 : Adventurous Visits to Villages

  Sunrise in the desert is something not to be missed, especially when served with your breakfast. Continue your tour with adventurous visits to villages and sand dunes (from Day 2 on any visits to villages are optional according to the wishes of the group; alternatively, the group can choose to enjoy the desert wild life and natural countryside with its peaceful quietness).
  
  8:00 am to 12:00 noon – On your ride through the desert environment you get to see the desert vegetation and the curious creatures on the sand. The safari calls at Khayala village (a traditional village of Muslim people) and Megha village (a village of mixed caste).
  
  12:00 noon to 3:00 pm - Lunch and rest in the shade of trees.
  
  3:00 pm to 5:00 pm - The ride in the afternoon will call at Rividi village (a village of Paliwal Brahman people) and then continue to the beautiful Sajeet sand dunes.
  
  On the way we stop to watch the stunning sunset and after experiencing the desert for a second day you can again enjoy a delicious dinner, freshly prepared for you over the camp fire. Settling to sleep under the clear star filled sky on your bed roll you will have more dreams of the desert.

• Day 3 : Riding to the Next Village

  Start your day with sunrise and breakfast served in bed after which the tour continues with adventurous visits to villages and sand dunes.
  
  8:00 am to 12:00 noon - You can experience the desert environment, you get a glimpse of the desert vegetation and the strange insects on the sand (along with two villages on the way).
  
  12:00 noon to 3:00 pm - Lunch and rest in the shade.
  
  3:00 pm to 5:00 pm – Riding to the next village, Bhaiarsar you can enjoy the camel trek and get the real feel of the desert by visiting remote villages.

  Conclude your third day of camel trekking with another beautiful sunset, traditional camp fire, tasty dinner and the night spent under the clear starry sky on the dunes at Sangar.

• Day 4 : Dunes of Lakhamna

  Enjoy the sunrise with breakfast served in bed and set out for another day of your adventurous tour.
  
  8:00 am to 12:00 noon - The trek takes you into remote areas with the opportunity to visit Sumaliyai village and later Bhalani village.
  
  12:00 noon to 3:00 pm – Lunch followed by rest in the shade.
  
  3:00 pm to 5:00 pm - Enjoy the camel trek while visiting the next village, Lakhamna (Rajput village).

  After reaching the dunes of Lakhamna you can enjoy the stunning sunset and later the traditional camp fire and dinner. The fourth night is spent on the dunes at Lakhamna with another view of the beautiful star filled sky and the quiet and stillness of the desert.

• Day 5 : Adventurous Visits to Villages

  Sunrise with breakfast served in bed after which the tour continues with adventurous visits to villages and sand dunes.
  
  8:00 am to 12:00 noon - The trek continues with visiting Punasar village and later visiting a Muslim Dhani on the way.
  
  12:00 noon to 3:00 pm - Lunch and rest in the shade.
  
  3:00 pm to 5:00 pm - Enjoy some more camel riding and galloping on the way to our campsite and return to Jaisalmer by a one-hour jeep drive.
  
  6:30 pm – The tour ends.
