Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Delhi (D)

  Arrive Delhi. Upon arrival you will be met by our Dominion travel respresentative and transferred to Hans Plaza hotel. Welcome dinner and overnight stay.
  

• Day 2 : In Delhi (B/-/D)

  0900 hrs Morning tour of New Delhi visiting the Qutub Minar, a tower of victory built in the 12th century and India Gate, the war memorial. Drive past the Rashtrapathi Bhawan, the residence of the President of India, the houses of Parliament and the Government Secretariat buildings. Afternoon tour of Old Delhi where you can pay respect at the final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi, the Raj Ghat, see the imposing Red Fort built by the creator of the Taj Mahal, visit lndia’s largest mosque, the Jama Masjid, with its black and white onion domes, minarets and white marble. Dinner & overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Delhi / Lucknow (B/-/D) by 9W-2641 at 08:50/ 10:15 Hrs

  Depart from hotel to domestic airport to board your flight to Lucknow. On arrival transfer to Vivanta by Taj hotel. Guided visits to La Martiniere, Dilkusha Palace, the residency built in 1800 AD for the British Resident, and the site of the 147-day siege, Bara Imambara- the tomb of Nawab Asad-Ud-Daulah,etc. Dinner & overnight in Lucknow.

• Day 4 : Lucknow - Sravasti (B/L/D) by road 170 Kms / 05 Hrs Approx.

  Morning drive to Sravasti. On arrival check in at Lotus Nikko hotel. Lunch in hotel. Afternoon guided tour of Sravasti visiting Sahet Mahet, capital of ancient Kingdom of Kosala, Jetvana Vihar & Buddhist Temples. Dinner in the hotel. Overnight stay.
  

• Day 5 : Sravasti- Lumbini (B/L/D) by road 225 Kms / 06 Hrs Approx.

  After an early breakfast drive to Lumbini (in Nepal) approx 6 hrs. On arrival check in at Hokke hotel. Lunch in the hotel. Afternoon visit Mayadevi temple, Ashokan Pillar & stupas. Lumbini- where Lord Buddha was born. Dinner in the hotel. Overnight stay.
  

• Day 6 : In Lumbini (B/L/D)

  Another day in Lumbini to take in the serenity of this small town, a famous Buddhist pilgrimage destination. Overnight stay at the same hotel on fullboard basis.
  

• Day 7 : Lumbini - Kushinagar (B/L/D) by road 161 Kms / 05 Hrs Approx

  After breakfast drive to Kushinagar. Arrive Kushinagar and check in at Royal Residency hotel. Lunch in the hotel. Kushinagar is the place where Buddha entered perfect tranquillity in the state of MahaPari Nirvana. Afternoon visit MahaPari Nirvana temple & Ramabhar Stupa (cremation place of Lord Buddha). Dinner in the hotel. Overnight stay.
  

• Day 8 : Kushinagar - Varanasi (B/L/D) by road 260 Kms / 07 Hrs Approx

  After breakfast drive to Varanasi. Packed lunch. Upon arrival check in at Radisson hotel. Evening rikshaw ride to the Ghats for the arti ceremony. Dinner in the hotel. Overnight stay.
  

• Day 9 : In Varanasi (B/-/D)

  Early morning boat ride on river Ganges to see the Bathing & Cremation Ghats and later visit Banaras Hindhu University. Return to hotel for Breakfast. 0900 hrs drive to Sarnath- the buried Buddhist city where Lord Buddha gave his First Sermon. Visit Buddhist temple, Stupas, Museum and monastery ruins. Dinner in the hotel. Overnight stay in Varanasi.
  

• Day 10 : Varanasi - Bodhgaya (B/L/D) by road 242 Kms / 07 Hrs Approx

  0700 hrs Leave Varanasi for Bodhgaya. Upon arrival check in at Royal Residency hotel. Bodhgaya- the place where Lord Buddha attained Enlightenment under the sacred Bodhi Tree. Lunch in the hotel. Afternoon visit the Mahabodhi Temple. Guest can also make their way to the Temple by taking the rickshaw or just simply walk down. Dinner in the hotel. Overnight stay.

• Day 11 : Bodhgaya - Patna enroute visiting Rajgir & Nalanda ( Total driving time is approx 7 hrs )

  0630 hrs Leave Bodhgaya for Patna enroute visiting Rajgir & Nalanda. Rajgir is a site of great sanctity and significance for Buddhists, visit Shanti Stupa, Gridhakuta Hill and later visit Venu Van. Next drive to Nalanda which is 14 kms away and was one of the oldest University of the World & International Centre for Buddhist Studies.1330 hrs Drive to Patna, ( 90 kms - approx 3 hrs). Packed lunch from hotel. On arrival at Patna dinner at Chanakaya hotel (4* hotel). Overnight stay.
  

• Day 12 : Patna - Delhi (B/-/D) by AI-410 at 08:40 / 10:20 Hrs

  In due time transfer to airport to board your flight back to Delhi.Upon arrival in Delhi transfer to Hans Plaza Hotel. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure in Delhi, strolling Indian colourful bazars and busy streets. Farewell dinner in town. Overnight stay
  

• Day 13 : Depart Delhi by flight

• Rates mentioned are per person on twin sharing basis. Extra Adult sharing the same room will be charged 50% of the package rates (per person rates) Extra child 5-12 years will be charged 40% of the package rates Entry & exit points will be nearest to the destinations All confirmations are subject to availability at the time of booking.
