being Mostly Barren (only 18% of the Land Can Be Cultivated), Agriculture Always Played a Minor Role in the Economy of the Island, Except for the Valley of Vathi. the Island is Famous for Its Citrus Fruits.
among the Main Attractions of the Island are Its Beach such as Therma and Gefira, Vlichadia, Kantoumi/linaria, Palti Yialos, Only to Name a Few. Some Smaller Beaches Around the Island are Only Accessible By Bike or Boat.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Kalymnos

  Upon arrival in Kalymnos, check-in at your hotel and free time. Overnight in Kalymnos
  
  In the event there is no direct ferry from Bodrum to Kalymnos on the day you plan to travel, you still have the option to take a ferry to Kos and then connect to Kalymnos.

• Day 2 : Kalymnos

  Explore the Kalymnos:
  
  Chorio : The old capital of the island. Some interesting Kafenion and Ouzeria if you want to go native i.e. octopus and Ouzo! Above the village are the ruins of the castle and the old settlement which are fantastic to wander around but it’s a mammoth climb so go early in the morning or out of season.
  
  Kefala : Reached by boat trip, the caves are again quite a walk but well worth the effort.
  
  Traditional villages are Argos, Platanos, Vothini and Metochi. Overnight in Kalymnos

• Day 3 : Turkey

  Before returning to the port in order to return to Bodrum – again via Kos – or to proceed to any other island in the area (Kos, Rhodes, Symi, Patmos), time at leisure to continue your exploration of the island. Note : there is no airport on Kalymnos and ferry connections to the mainland may require a connection in Kos or Rhodes.
