Chios is One of the Islands of the North-east Aegean, Very Close to Turkey and Opposite the Erithrea Peninsula, Separated from It By the Chios Canal. the Country of Chios Extends to 842 Square Kilometers and Has a Population of About 54.000 People.

While the Northern Part is Mainly Covered with Mountains and Barren Lands, the Southern Part is Colored By Fruits, Almonds, Olives, Vines and Uncountable Mastic Trees. These are the Most Characteristic Trees of the Island, a Bush from Whose Fruits the Chian Exclusively Produce Worldwide Know Products such as the Mastic Gum and a Unique Liquor that is Served as An Appetizer.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chios

  Upon Arrival in Chios, Check-in At Your Hotel.
  
  The Main City, also Called Chios, is Built in a Narrow Plain with Low Hills Opposite to the Turkish Coast, in the Same Place Where the Ancient City Was Found. Today, It is a Commercially Active and Lively City Where Yet the Old Flavors Can Still Be Noticed Since Big Parts of the Genoese Fortress with Houses of the Ottoman Period are Still Standing. The Byzantine Fortress (10th Century A.d.) Has Been Renovated and Adapted to Their Needs By the Various Consecutive Conquerors of the Island. The Main Entrance and the Western Wall Show Occidental Signs and Blazons, Some Parts of the 60 Meters Wide Ditch Surrounding the Fortress are Still in Their Original Shape. It Was Built in the Byzantine Period and Was Then Used as the Administrative Center of the Island. It Enjoyed a Great Development During the Genovese Governance. It Was An Example of a Renaissance-type City. Its Walls Resisted Numerous Attacks from Genoese, Venetians and Turks. You Will also Visit the "justiniani" Museum and other Interesting Byzantine Monuments such as the Saint George Church.

• Day 2 : Chios

  For this Second Day, We Propose Some Relaxation At the Beach or for the Curious Ones, a Tour to Another Area of the Island. This Could Be By Rental Car or By Joining a Group Tour.
  the Southern Villages of Chios are Called “mastic Villages” as They are Famous for the Mastic – a Bush like Tree - Unique Plant of the Chian Flora.
  
  From the Town of Chios, We First Go to Pirgi, An Artistic Village, the Largest of the Medieval Villages of Chios and Probably the Most Important, Due to Its Traditions and Architecture. Olymbi and Mesta are Two other Characteristic Medieval Villages.
  
  Emborio, a Small Bay Near Pirgi, the Inactive Volcano of Psaronas, Armolia,A Village Famous for Its Pottery are among the Places to Visit in Southern Chios.
  
  Overnight in Chios
• Day 3 : Turkey

  Day At Leisure Before Returning to the Port in the Mid-afternoon to Catch the Ferry Back to Cesme or Possibly Continue Your Greek Island Hopping Tour to Lesvos or Samos or Athens….
