  Full day tour to visit Koh Ker is 100 kilometers away from Siem Reap.
  It was the capital of Khmer Empire, and very unique period in the Age of Angkor. From the time, Khmer capital was first moved to the Angkor area in the late 9th century, it would remain there for almost 500 years. On the way back, en route and discover Beng Melea temple. The sprawling jungle temple covering over one square kilometer is largely overrun by vegetation. Constructed in a distinctly Angkor Wat style, it preceded and may have served as a prototype for Angkor Wat.
