Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : (Bagdogra (IXB)/ New Jalpaiguri (NJP) to Gangtok)

  Welcome on arrival at IXB/NJP meet our representative and transfer to Gangtok (117kms/4hrs), at an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the Capital of Sikkim. Overnight at hotel.
• Day 2 : (Gangtok to Lachen transfer (North Sikkim)

  After breakfast pickup from your hotel at Gangtok and Transfer to Lachen135 kilometers, 5 – 6 hours drive - Chungthang is 96 kilometers from Gangtok – Lunch at Chungthang – Lachen is 35 kilometers from Chungthang Reach Lachen late afternoon / early evening - The snow capped peaks, the Shingbha wild life sanctuary, Gurudongmar Lake, Chopta Valley, Thangu are the major attraction – It’s a valley surrounded by gigantic and humbling snow peak mountains and the starting point of Green Lake Trek – In fact the village cradled between stern, tall rock faces standing like guards – A hamlet with very few people – It almost like this town is hidden from the outside – Like a Shangri - La – Check into a hotel - Welcome Tea – Evening free to stroll and visit the Lepcha Village – Overnight stay at Hotel in Lachen.

• Day 3 : (Excursion to Gurudongmer Lake & transfer to Lachung)

  Early morning breakfast – Visit to Gurudongmar Lake 55 kilometers, 2½ - 3½ hours drive - A valley at an altitude of 11, 800 feet through which Lachen Chu flows, generally covered with snow from December to April or even more is known as the Holy / Sacred Lake - Next drive through the cold desert till Tibet / China back to Resort for Lunch – After lunch drive to Lachung,49 kms-2 hrs journey. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 4 : (Excursion to Yumthang Valley & transfer back to Gangtok)

  Early morning after breakfast start for half-day excursion trip to Yumthang Valley, en-rote visit Hot Spring and Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary.Some photographs of the natural scenes of Switzerland and Yumthang valley are very hard to distinguish. Yumthang, which is at an altitude of 12,000 ft., is situated about 135 km from Gangtok. April and May promises colorful flowers & Orchids, where as November end to March usually sees snows, Transfer back to Lachung for Lunch followed by onward trip back to Gangtok. Overnight at Hotel.
