Gangtok - Pelling - Darjeeling Tour

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : NJP/ Bagdogra – Gangtok

  Our representatives will receive guests at NJP Railway station /Bagdogra Airport and then proceed to Gangtok.
  On arrival at Gangtok guests will check-in at the hotel.
  In the evening guests can visit local markets or nearby areas (on their own).
  Night stay at hotel.

• Day 2 : Full day at Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion Trip, (Nathula Optional, Depending on Permit)

  After breakfast guests are scheduled to drive to Tsomgo Lake (Alt 12000 ft/3600M). It is a high altitude Alpine Lake close to the Indo-China Border.
  Guests can enjoy playing in snow and try Yak Ride.
  Guests can further proceed for the Legendary Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir.
  Return to the Hotel.
  Night stay at Gangtok hotel.
  Optional Tour to Nathula Pass
  Nathula Pass is at an altitude of 14000 ft/4200 mts on the China Border. This trip can be arranged exclusively for Indians only (except Monday & Tuesday) with a 30 days advance request at an additional cost.
  Return to the hotel.
  Night stay at Gangtok.
  Per vehicle -5500/-
  In case of Landslide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake may be closed so guests will be provided with alternative sightseeing spots.

• Day 3 : Gangtok Local Sightseeing

  Start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Center (Closed on Sunday and 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month), Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday) (Saturday & Sunday closed), Dro-dul Chorten, Gonjang Monastery & Banjakhri Falls (maximum 6 hours).
  Overnight stay at Gangtok.

• Day 4 : Gangtok to Pelling Departure (132 Km / 5 hrs) Via Namchi Chardham

  After breakfast guests will proceed for Pelling.
  En-route visit Chardham which is situated at Namchi Namchi. Chardham is a huge pilgrimage cum cultural complex developed by the Sikkim Government to promote Religious, Eco and Village tourism in the state.
  Over Rs. 56 crore has been spent on this complex which spreads across 29 hectares of area on top of a hill known as the Solophok Hill in Namchi of South Sikkim.
  Check-in at the Hotel.
  Pelling is famous for its magnificent view of the snow-capped mountains of Kanchenjunga.
  Night stay and dinner at hotel

• Day 5 : Pelling (Full Local sight seeing)

  Guests will start local sightseeing after breakfast and visit sights like Khangchendzonga waterfalls, Rimbi waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake, etc.
  In the afternoon, the 2nd Half tour - Pemayangtse Monastery, Sang-Ngag Choling (Sky Walk – at your own cost),New Helipad Ground.
  Overnight stay at Pelling.

• Day 6 : Pelling - Darjeeling

  After breakfast Proceed for Darjeeling "The Queen of Hill" .
  On arrival check-in to the hotel & rest of the day free.
  Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

• Day 7 : Darjeeling Sightseeing

  Guests will visit Tiger Hill at 4 am in the morning to view the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. worlds 3rd highest peak) Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of Permit / Token) Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on the way back.
  After breakfast guests will proceed to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P. N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre, Tea Garden, Peace Pagoda
  Night stay at Darjeeling.

  • Themes : Mountaineering

• Day 8 : Departure from Darjeeling

  After breakfast guests will have leisure time for packing and other personal activities.
  Guests will proceed to Bagdogra Airport / Njp Railway station and move to their home town with nostalgic memories
