Gangtok with Pelling Tour

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bagdogra - Gangtok

  Start from Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station or Siliguri Bus Stand and drive to Gangtok. Checkin at the hotel. Explore the town in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Gangtok - Tshangu Lake

  After breakfast, in the morning, start for excursion to Tshangu Lake - situated at a height of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. (Incase of landslide or other reasons, Tshangu Lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing will be provided). Back to Gangtok and overnight at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Gangtok - Pelling

  After breakfast, check out from hotel. Go for a half day (04 hrs) sightseeing covering Jhakri Water Falls along with Droul Chorthen, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom (Closed on Sunday) and Flower Show. Afternoon transfer to Pelling (6100 Ft / 1860 Mts, 116 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs). Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 4 : Yuksom

  After breakfast, drive to Yuksom. On the way visit Darap Village, Rimbi Water fall and Hydro Project, Khecheopalri Lake and Kanchanjunga Waterfall. A further drive takes you to Yuksom (the meeting place of three monks) - the first capital of Sikkim. Evening return to Pelling. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Hotspots : Khecheopalri Lake

• Day 5 : Pelling

  After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Board transportation towards onward journey.
