This self driving package is for you to see South Africa’s scenic Garden Route. Start off in Johannesburg where you have one night to recharge after a long flight.

The next day your journey will begin with a flight to Port Elizabeth, where you will collect a rental vehicle and start this trip which includes a safari experience, a country lodge in true wilderness, whale watching opportunities, and The Mother City–Cape Town.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive in Johannesburg

  Arrive in Johannesburg, South Africa. You will be greeted by a representative from Adventures Africa.

• Day 2 : Arrive in Port Elizabeth

  Arrive in Port Elizabeth. You will be greeted by a representative from Adventures Africa and collect your rental car to drive onto Kariega.

  Room Type: Luxury Suite
  Check in: 2pm
  Check out: 10am
  Board Inclusion: All meals / selected local beverages / Guests enjoy morning and evening game drives / guided bush walks, fishing, boating, and canoeing are offered free of charge.

• Day 3 : Kariega Private Game Reserve, River Lodge

  The Kariega Game Reserve safari experience is centered around two daily game drives. Guests will be delighted with close up viewing of a diversity of wild African game including lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, hippo, giraffe, zebra, a host of antelope species, and a myriad of exquisite bird life. Skilled and knowledgeable safari guides will spend time interpreting some of the secrets of the African bush, will cater to any specific requests, and ensure that all your questions are answered.
