Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi – Arrive Leh

  Meet and assist o arrival at Leh Airport and transferred to Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure, wherein welcome tea and coffee will be served by the hotel. We recommend you relax and undergo minimal exertion to enable yourself acclimatize to rarefied air of this remote region ensconced in the high Himalayan plateau. Dinner & overnight stay at Leh.
• Day 2 : Leh Sightseeing

  After breakfast, explore the ancient town of Leh on foot. After a couple of hours, return to your hotel for lunch. After lunch you are driven west to visit the Shanti Stupa, inaugurated in 1983 by H.H.Dalai Lama, the peace Pagoda, whose sides are decorated with gilt panels depicting episodes from the life of Buddha, is one of the several monuments erected around India by peace sect of Japanese Buddhists. Driven to Sankar Monastery nestled amid the shimmering coppices & terraced fields of Barley. Sankar Monestry: The Gompa (Monestry in local language), contains a formidable collection of miniature statues of pure gold and ancient paintings (called Thangkas) also done with gold. Evening Dinner & overnight stay in Leh
• Day 3 : Leh – Chumathang - Tsomoriri (240 Kms)

  After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Chumathang stop at Upshi for check point. Chumathang is famous for medical hot spring & people visit to this place for medical bath. From here a short drive up to Maha Bridge the main checking point to enter to this new area. From here the road is rough. On the way visit Sumdah village and another 55 kms drive will take you to Tsomoriri. The Lake is breeding grounds for numerous species of birds. Chief among them are the bar headed goose, found in great numbers, crested grebe, the Brahmini duck (Ruddy Sheldrake) and the brown headed gull. The Lake is 8 Kms. Wide and 28 Kms long. Dinner & overnight stay in Tents at Tsomoriri.
• Day 4 : Tsomoriri

  After breakfast visit Korzok village with its houses and its Gompa appearing like a mirage. The few barley fields at Korzok must be among the highest cultivation in the world. In the afternoon visit around the Lake. Dinner and overnight stay in Tent at Tsomoriri.
• Day 5 : Tsomoriri – Korzok - Puga – Tanglangla - Tsokar – Leh

  After breakfast check out from Tent and drive to Mahe village en route visit Puga Valley. The village is an unforgettable scene of shooting fountain and white clouds hanging upon. This is Butane Gas, which Puga valley is famous. Continue drive to Tsokar via Polokongka pass (13500 ft.) and visit Tsokar (small Lake) and one can visit Thugke Gomp. The place is famous for wild asses are generally seen here grazing and they seem moving in flocks. Continue drive towards to Leh via Tanglangla pass (5350 Mtrs.) which is the second highest motor able road in the world. Arrive Leh in the evening. Dinner & overnight stay in Hotel at Leh.

• Day 6 : Leh

  After breakfast day for Rafting in Indus River which starts from Phe to Nimu. Hot Lnch at back of Indus. In the later afternoon return back to the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay in Hotel at Leh.
• Day 7 : Depart Leh - Delhi

  After breakfast check out from Hotel and transfer to Airport for you’re onwards journey with Sweet Memories Tour by Greenland Holidays.
