Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Amman, Jordan

  On arrival meet and assist at Amman International by our representative and transferred to your chosen Hotel. Day at leisure. Jordan lies on the continent of Asia. It consists of an arid plateau in the east, irrigated by oasis and seasonal water streams, with highland area in the west of arable land and Mediterranean evergreen forestry. The Jordan Rift Valley of the Jordan River separates Jordan from Israel and the Palestinian Territories. The highest point in the country is Jabal Umm al Dami, at 1,854 m (6,083 ft) above sea level; its top is also covered with snow, while the lowest is the Dead Sea −420 m (−1,378 ft). Jordan is part of a region considered to be "The Cradle of Civilization", the Levant Region of the Fertile Crescent. Major cities include the capital Amman and Salt in the west, Irbid, Jerash and Zarqa, in the northwest and Madaba, Karak and Aqaba in the southwest. Major towns in the eastern part of the country are the oasis town of Azraq and Ruwaished. Overnight stay at Amman.
• Day 2 : Amman - Jerash, Arrive Petra – (B) (L)

  After breakfast visit Ancient Jerash, one of the best preserved Roman cities in the Middle East. Here you will tour the ruins including the distinctive elliptical forum with its beautiful Ionic colonnade, Hadrian’s Arch, the Hippodrome and the Temple of Artemis – the site’s most splendid monument. Following a Lebanese lunch transfer to Petra. Overnight stay at Petra.

• Day 3 : Petra, Petra By Candlelight

  After breakfast start the day with a privately guided tour of Ancient Petra lasting between 2 to 3 hours. The site is approached via the Siq, a dramatic narrow gorge of striking beauty hemmed in by cliffs up to 80 meters in height. After 1.5 kilometers the stunning edifice of the Treasury (El Khazneh) emerges dramatically through a narrow gap. Further on the intricately carved Royal Tombs, Street of the Facades, High Place of Sacrifice, Qasr al Bint and the enormous Monastery (El Deir) all wait to be discovered. A buffet lunch will be provided within the site. The afternoon is free to continuing exploring Petra independently. This evening experience the unforgettable spectacle of Petra by Candlelight (Operates Mon, Wed, Thu only) when the Siq and forecourt of the Treasury are bathed in the soft flickering light of thousands of candles. Overnight stay at Petra.

• Day 4 : Petra - Red Sea

  After breakfast drive from Petra to Tala Bay on the Red Sea coast. On arrival check-in at your beach-front Resort Hotel. The Day will be at leisure to relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities. Overnight stay at Red Sea.

• Day 7 : Red Sea - Wadi Rum

  After breakfast, will be at leisure by the Red Sea. In the afternoon drive to Wadi Rum and explore the stunning Desert Valley by 4WD vehicle. This vast timeless and starkly beautiful place where uniquely shaped mountains rise out of the rose-red desert was used by T. E. Lawrence as his headquarters during the Arab Revolt of 1917 – 18, and was the location for many shots in David Lean’s epic film ’Lawrence of Arabia’. This evening enjoy a typical Bedouin meal and overnight under canvas in a small scenically located tented camp. The desert sky at night can be amazing! Overnight stay at Wadi Rum.

• Day 8 : Kerak Castle - Dead Sea

  At sunrise there is an opportunity for a hot-air balloon ride to see the magnificent spectacle of dawn over the desert (supplement applies, subject to weather conditions). After breakfast visit the huge Crusader and Mamluk castle of Kerak with its awe-inspiring ring of walls, and then drive to the Dead Sea. Overnight stay at Dead Sea.
