• Day 1 : ARRIVE AHMEDABAD - GIR

  Welcome to your 'Wildlife of Gujarat with Beaches' tour! Arrive at Ahmedabad railway station or
  Ahmedabad Airport on your own arrangements. You will be met and transferred to your hotel in
  Sasangir
  -
  The home of the Asiatic Lion ( Private )
  Overnight in Sas
  an Gir.
• Day 2 : AT SASANGIR

  Today, visit Gir Interpretation Zone at Devaliya. Crocodile breeding farm, Gir Information centre. Watch
  movie on lion at Gir Information centre in the evening (on direct payment basis). A tapestry of dry
  deciduous forests, a
  cacia scrub and grassland, fed by rivers and reservoirs.
  The rest of the evening is at leisure.
  Overnight in Sasan Gir

• Day 3 : On to Diu * Excursion to Somnath

  Today, Proceed to beach town Diu. Check into your hotel.
  Later proceed to Somnath Jyotirling Temple,
  the temple of Somnath, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva According to the legend, Somnath is as
  old as creation, built by none other than the Moon God himself. This pilgrimage is one of the oldest and
  fin
  ds its reference in the ancient texts like Skandpuran, Shreemad Bhagvat, Shivpuran etc. The present
  temple is the seventh temple reconstructed on the original site. The first temple of Somnath is said to
  have existed before the beginning of the Christian e
  ra.

  The morning is at leisure to enjoy the wide variety of water sports facilities available at Nagoa Beach (On
  direct payment basis).
  Later, visit St. Paul's Church
  -
  This Church is said t
  o be the only active church in the region till date. It
  boasts of intricate volutes and shell that form an impressive motif. Its richly done wood carving which
  has earned a special recognition among the most elaborate Portuguese churches is the real feast
  for
  eyes. On a close look at this church you will find that it has resemblance with Bom Jesus Church at Goa
  on the virtue of architectural patterns.
  Diu Museum displays a wide range of artifacts including stone idols, wooden carvings, antic statues and
  ins
  criptions. This Museum of Diu Island also unfolds the Portuguese era in this region & Diu Fort
  -
  The
  fort is skirted by the Sea on the three sides. On the fort stands a giant Light House. Several canons still stare menacingly from top. The main front wall
  is having five huge windows with stone galleries. The
  Fort has been creatively lit, which creates a breath taking views at night.
