Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi - Cochin - Munnar(Tea Garden & Hill station).130 Kms.

  On time transfer your self to board the flight for Cochin. Upon arrival at Cochin airport you will transfer to Munnar, Munnar is a beautiful hill station which was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. Afternoon visit Rajamala- house of the highly endangered mountain goats - the Nilgiri Thars. Evening at leisure.

• Day 2 : Munnar

  After breakfast sight seeing tour of Munnar visiting Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. You may enjoy here speed boating and other water releated entertainment. The dam is flanked by forests and vast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other side. Afternoon at leisure at your own.

• Day 3 : Munnar - Thekkady [PERIYAR] (110 Kms/03 hrs drive)

  After breakfast, drive to Thekkady. A scenic 03:00 hrs drive from Munnar. The very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spices scented plantations. In the Periyar Forest of Thekkady is one of the finest wild life reserves in India, and spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and mountain walks.
  On arrival check in at Hotel and after fresh up visit spice market and spice plantations. Here you can see the Pepper, Cardamom, Vanilla, Cinnamon and other spices are grown.

• Day 4 : Thekkady - Alleppey(Backwaters)

  Morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey. By noon check in to the house boat in Alleppey. On the way you will witness a full range of lifes and activities and some mind boggling sceneries. Overnight on board at house boat. House boat is a private boat with fully furnished spacious bath attached bed rooms, hygiene kitchen,dining area and private front deck to capture the beauty of the back waters ( All meals included on House boat). Over night on House boat .

• Day 5 : Alleppey - Kumarakom ( 90 Kms .Time taken 2 hours.)

  After breakfast check out from the houseboat and proceed to Kumarkom. Spend the rest of the day in the Kalathil lake resort.
