Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Buenos Aires

  On arrival in Buenos Aires, your Cox & Kings representative will greet you at the 'meeting point' at the exit. After immigration and customs, transfer comfortably to your hotel
• Day 2 : In Buenos Aires

  This morning after breakfast, proceed on a half day guided sightseeing tour to view the attractions of Buenos Aires. Visit the Palermo Chico in which Embassies, Consulates and Museums are located. Further we proceed to the "3rd February" park or "The gardens of Palermos". Later, we visit "Monumento de los Dos Congresos" , "Plaza de Mayo" and the Obelisk which is a emblem of Buenos Aires. After this we visit "San Telmo" up to the urban quarter "La Boca" . Here there is a street named "Caminito" which is famous for its spirit of tango music and its coloured buildings.
  Overnight in Buenos Aires.
• Day 3 : Buenos Aires

  You have the day at leisure to explore the city. You can choose an optional excursion to Gaucho Festival (at an additional cost). This attraction makes you visit a typical Estancia of Argentina. Here, we have Argentinean style barbecue like Empanada or Asodo, as you feel the atmosphere of country life you enjoying the local cuisine and hear the traditional Argentine folklore music and have the chance to dance together with some tango. Also watch the Gauchos' traditional horse race. You have the opportunity to ride a horse and an opportunity to take a ride on the typical cart. You are going to feel like a real Gaucho!

• Day 4 : Buenos Aires - Iguassu

  Drive to the airport for your flight to Iguassu. On arrival, transfer to the hotel.
  Later, visit the Argentinean side of the waterfalls. This excursion brings you to the waterfalls by using the hiking routes. Finally you arrive at a breathtaking canyon called "Garganta del Diablo" (Canyon of the devil). A train through the jungle moves to the stations "waterfalls" and "Garganta del Diablo", the hiking route connects these two stations. Hiking routes are accessible to a lookout point "Alvar-Nunes", the waterfalls are called "Bozetti", "San Martin" and "the two sisters".

• Day 5 : Iguassu

  This morning after breakfast, enjoy a tour to the waterfalls on the Brazilian side. From the Brazilian side you have a breath-taking point of view to gaze at the UNESCO world natural heritage.
  The rest of the day is leisure. You can opt for a visit to the Birds Park. This world-class park offers tourists, ecologists, photographers and ornithologists an opportunity to interact with birds in their natural habitat without restrictions. There are over 160 species, both indigenous and from other continents.

• Day 6 : Iguassu - Rio de Janeiro

  Today, drive to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro.
  On arrival, proceed on an excursion to the Sugar Loaf Mountain. You pass the beaches "Praia do Botafogo" and "Praia Vermelha" at the urban district called "Urca". We first stop on a hill called "Morro da Urca" on which several gardens and panorama viewing platforms are located. Enjoy a spectacular view over Rio de Janeiro, its beaches and the bay "Guanabara". At the horizon you can see the mountain called "Corcovado".
  After that, move on to the Copacabana Beach and later, transfer to the hotel and check-in.

• Day 7 : Rio de Janeiro

  This morning, start your day with a half day city tour and an excursion to "Corcovado". Starting point is the "Cosme Velho", which is located between city centre and Copacabana. Pass the tropical forest "Tijuca" on board a train. It is also a fantastic place to look over Rio de Janeiro and to see the mountain.
  On the top of Corcovado is the monument of Christ the Redeemer. From this viewing platform you can enjoy one of the most spectacular panorama views in the world. On one side to the sugar loaf and the beaches "Guanabara" and "Niteroi" and on the other side the beaches "Copacabana" and "Ipanema" as well. We can use double-tracked streets through the compacted vegetation which passes several beautiful waterfalls and viewing points of Tijuca Nature park. Tijuca Forest is a man-made reclamation of land.
  Overnight in Rio de Janeiro.
• Day 8 : Rio de Janeiro

  The day is at leisure to explore this exciting city. We recommend that you treat yourself and your family with optional excursions like the Jeep tour or visit to the tropical islands and Petropolis.

• Day 9 : Homeward Bound

  Good times need never end! As you get ready for the airport and your flight back home
