Day 1 : Arrive Cochin
On arrival in Cochin at International airport you will meet our representative and assisted transfer to hotel

Perhaps the most suitable way to explore the beauty of breathtaking backwaters is Kerala house boat which takes you into the totally different world where you will find serene and sheer ambience for your holidays. You will also be visiting water lagoons and Wildlife Park.

Day 2 : In Cochin
Post breakfast, morning sightseeing tour of Cochin or "Kochi"- the palm green, commercial capital of Kerala which has one of the finest natural harbours & is known as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea". From time immemorial, Arabs, Chinese, Dutch, British & Portuguese seafarers followed the sea route to Kochi & left their impression on the town. Modern Kochi is thus a splendid mosaic of these myriad influences. Visit the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, the Church of St. Francis and the famous Chinese fishing nets.
Late afternoon witness the Kathakali dance performance - Kathkali is a highly stylized classical Indian dance-drama noted for the attractive make-up of characters, elaborate costumes, detailed gestures and well-defined body movements presented in tune with the anchor playback music and complementary percussion. It originated in the country's present day state of Kerala during the 17th century and has developed over the years with improved looks, refined gestures and added themes besides more ornate singing and precise drumming.

Day 3 : Cochin - Alleppey - Houseboat
Morning drive to Alleppey (60 kms) to board the traditional rice boats - "Kettuvallam" and begin your journey through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes relaxing in the tranquillity of Kerala's beautiful scenery. Experience the way of life and activity of the local people, the one bedroom house with a lounge is exclusively for you; meals will be served with freshly bought produce from the local markets and cooked on board. Overnight on board.
Note: Houseboats sail only during day time and come to halt in the night since local fishermen place fishing nets on the backwaters during the night.
Day 4 : Alleppey - Kumarakom
After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and drive to Kumarakom . Upon arrival, check-in at hotel.
Kumarakom village- is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanadu Lake in Kerala. It is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna and is noted for its bird sanctuary where many species of migratory birds visit. The Vembanadu Lake, the largest backwater in Kerala, is also habitat for many marine and freshwater fish species and it teems with Karimeen, Shrimp and Prawns. It is a major tourist attraction. The gorgeous green of the fringed palms ripple in the blue waters and blend into wavelets. The people on the banks of Vembanadu Lake are generally peace-loving and follow a neat and healthy lifestyle. Their dressing is immaculate, usually spotless whites. The food mainly consists of rice and fish. Fish is a very important item in their menu for lunch and dinner.
Enjoy the rest of the day in the beautiful backwaters of Kerala. Kerala is famous for its Ayurvedic Message and Yoga Centre.
Evening enjoy sunset cruise on Vembanad lake

Day 5 : Kumarakom - Munnar
Post breakfast, drive to the beautiful hill station of Munnar (90 kms). Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Munnar - is the beautiful hill station housing world’s highest tea-growing estates.
Afternoon visit Tea Museum visit (closed on Mondays). Museum holds collection of old bits and pieces from the colonial era can be seen here. Have demonstration of tea production. Have Information on machineries, tea processing and tea tasting followed by Jeep for 01 hours in the Tea Plantation.
Evening enjoy short walk through the Tea Plantation.

Day 6 : Munnar - Periyar (Thekkady)
After breakfast, drive to Periyar (150 kms). Upon arrival, check-in at hotel.
Thekkady -is one of India's most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries, where you can watch wildlife at close range. The vegetation, the flora and fauna and the birds of Thekkady are uniquely rich, vast and varied that it does not bear semblance to any other wildlife sanctuaries in the world.
The spice plantation in Thekkady is one of the major spice plantations in Kerala. The spice plantations in Kerala are captivating farms to wander in, since different spices are cultivated in different sections of each plantation.
Evening enjoy Kalaripyattu (Martial Art) show in local theatre in Periyar and walk through the market.
Overnight, stay at hotel in Thekkady.
Day 7 : Periyar (Thekkady)
Post breakfast, game viewing cruise on Periyar Lake in the cool surroundings and the panorama spreads around - tropical jungles, wild elephants, Indian gaur, monkeys, spotted deer, barking deer, wild boar and birds of myriad varieties. Many animals come to the water's edge and it is one of the few places in the world where elephants can be observed at close quarters from the safety of a boat.
Afternoon free for own activities at the hotel
Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 : Periyar - Cochin
After breakfast, transfer to Cochin airport (95 kms) to connect your flight to onward destination.
