Day 1: Arrive at NJP / Siliguri. Pick up from Siligruri and drive to Yuksom
Day 2: Trek from Yuksom (1690m) to Sachen (2160m)
Day 3: Trek from Sachen (2160m) to Tsokha (2930m)
Day 4: Trek from Tsokha (2930m) to Dzongri (3930m)
Day 5: Trek from Dzongri (3930m) to Thansing (3900m)
Day 6: Trek from Thansing (3900m) to Lamuney (4120m)
Day 7: Trek from Lamuney (4120m) to Goecha La (4780m) and back to Kokchurung
Day 8: Trek from Kokchurung(3900m) to Tsokha (2930m)
Day 9: Trek from Tsokha (2930m) to Yuksom (1690m)
Day 10: Drive from Yuksom to NJP / SiliguriTransfer to/from yuksom

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive at NJP​ / Bagdogra

  Arrival at N.J.P Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport try to reach before 10am if possible and 7 hours journey to Yuksom, and spend the night at Homestay
  and enjoy the taste of local food and peace environment.

• Day 2 : Trek from Yuksom (1690m) to Sachen (2160m)

  At early morning Trek begins from Yuksom homestay. We will be camping at Sachen.
  
  You will come across the valley of Rathong river, Pha khola, Prekchu river the water of Prekchu river are pure and crystal clear and hanging wooden bridge over the river makes
  
  your trek more adventurous, Tshushay Khola falls in a series of mini waterfalls joining the peek below Mentogang khola and you will engulfed between gush of trees
  all around small path leading you to your destination.

• Day 3 : Trek from Sachen (2160m) to Tsokha (2930m)

  Early morning after breakfast we will start our trek to Phedang via Tshoka. Tshoka is a historic place, where few Tibetan people use to live until Kanchenjunga National park declared this place as protected area they have been shifted to Yuksom with all their belongings, sheeps, yak herd’s etc. This hill has a Monastery where trekkers pray for the successful summit and right below the monastery there is a small pond which makes the place so serene and beautiful. And snow clad mountains can be seen from here.

• Day 4 : Trek from Tsokha (2930m) to Dzongri (3930m)

  Get up at morning and go around the campsite for bird watching you can witness the different variety of birds in this trek. After breakfast move towards Dzongri and the trail is covered by Rhododendron tress all around you and the landscape changes from Deorali to most scenic trail.

• Day 5 : Trek from Dzongri (3930m) to Thansing (3900m)

  Early morning we will move towards Dzongri la Top viewpoint to witness the mighty Kanchenjunga range right in front of you and sun rays hitting the mountainous god the view will really refresh your mind for long long time. Dzongri la means the places where people meet the gods of the mountains. After that we will move towards Thansing crossing the beautiful meadow and Prekchu river icy cold water flowing in the river, and forest of Rhododendron trees next to the river the view will make your day more pleasing.

  • Meals & Drinks : Organic food

• Day 6 : Trek from Thansing (3900m) to Lamuney (4120m)

  Trek from Thansing to Lamuney will be the easiest trek a straight walk fromvThansing. Trek along the meadows straight ahead the path leading to Goechala. At Lamuney we will be camping right below the snow clad mountain.

  • Meals & Drinks : Organic food

• Day 7 : Trek from Lamuney (4120m) to Goecha La (4780m) and back to Kokchurung

  Today trek will be longer than before we have to wake up at 3am morning and head toward our summit via Samiti Lake the co;our of the lake is really magical and Zemathang. After reaching the summit spend some time with nature and mountainous god and magnificent view of mountain and glaciers make the trekker spellbound. And back to Kokchurung via Thansing.

• Day 8 : Trek from Kokchurung(3900m) to Tsokha (2930m)

  The way to Tshoka from Kokchurung is covered by Maple trees, Pine trees and Rhododendron trees and other bushes. The way is easy from valley to valley we will reach Tshoka in afternoon via Phedang.

• Day 9 : Trek from Tsokha (2930m) to Yuksom (1690m)

  Tshoka to Yuksom last day of the trek

NOTE:

•  We request all the trekkers to walk silently without making noise so you can witness the Red Panda, Barking Dear, Blood Peasant and different species of Birds and flower on the trails.


•  Vegetables we eat are all organic and home grown or bought from Village market and our food will be prepared by local cook so you can experience the local taste of food.


•  Please note that the itinerary provided is subject to favorable weather and conditions. In case of bad weather and inaccessibility to a destination after the tour begins, we will do our best to make alternate plans. The cost of the tour or any part of it will not be refunded in the event of unfavorable conditions anytime during the tour days, after the tour begins.


• No refunds will be entertained if participants are unable to complete the tour owing to medical conditions or any other reasons, after starting the tour.


• Do I need trekking experience and fitness -- We were asked this questions many times regarding the trek so our guidelines to this is very simple , basically one should be healthy, active, and adventurous and yes ready to spend time in the outdoors. Past trekking experience isn't necessary, If you have done trekking before although it will help you understand what all involves in trek. The most important factor for enjoying the trek is a positive attitude, respect to local culture and a sense of humor.
