Arrival at Kigali International Airport depend on your Flight you will visit Start historical-minded exploration of Kigali city with visits to landmarks from colonial, post-independence, genocide and post-genocide times i.e. Kigali Genocide memorial site where over 259,000 genocide victims were put to rest in mass graves, Dr. Richard Kant Museum who was the first Germany explorer to settle in Kigali, Belgian camp where they killed the 10 Belgian UN soldiers who were protecting the moderate prime minister before the start of genocide etc. Transfer to Bugesera in the afternoon to visit the reconciliation village where the survivors of genocide live together in harmony with the perpetrators that killed their own families, Nyamata and Ntarama genocide churches where thousands of innocent people were butchered in the house of God Transfer and Overnight at Nyungwe (all of this activities will depends on your Flight and time of your arrival).International flights from home and back

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival and Transfer to Nyungwe (Home of Chimpanzees)

  Arrival and Transfer to Nyungwe (Home of Chimpanzees)

  • Meals & Drinks : Full Board

• Day 2 : Chimpanzees Trekking, Colubus trails of Nyungwe

  At 4:30am you be ready and enter Nyungwe forest to track the Nyungwe Chimpanzees in the Morning then after lunch either do Nyungwe Canopy Walk or Colubus Monkeys. A walk in the forest is a whole learning experience conducted by knowledgeable guides well versed in botany, ornithology and interspecies relationship in this forest. Thereafter, return to your hotel for lunch then at 1pm or 3 pm Visit Nyungwe Canopy walk and probably you will see also Mona Monkeys, Blue Monkeys, Black-faced verve, red tailed monkeys. Overnight at the Hotel

• Day 3 : Nyungwe to Volcanoes National Park:

  After breakfast we transfer to the Volcano National Park via Huye at the exist of the Nyungwe National Forest is where you will visit and see a beekeeper as working with bees or collecting honey also if time will allows you in your way to Musanze you will be able to visit Rwanda National Museum, Nyanza King Palace Museum then Drive and overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique

• Day 4 : Mountain Gorillas Tracking

  After breakfast you will have to Drive to Volcano National Park Headquarters for your first Gorillas Tracking around 6:30am and here we are embark on a once in a life time experience of tracking mountain gorillas. Once you spot them you are allowed to spend an hour watching your closest long lost cousin. This is perhaps one of the most breathtaking wildlife experiences on earth!!! You get so close to these awesome giant primates. You stare at each other blankly not knowing who to break the long silence first. Tracking the gorillas through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virunga is a magical experience. Be back at the base in

• Day 5 : Golden Monkeys Tracking

  Return to the entrance of the Park early this morning to see the Golden Monkeys. It is now believed the only feasible population of these Golden Monkeys resides only in Volcanoes National Park. They are beautiful and endangered primates which have become quite habituated to humans, making it possible to observe them closely. After lunch at the Hotel, then after Transfer to Nyungwe and overnight Paladis Malahide Located and Close to Lake Kivu

• Day 6 : Nyiragongo - Goma

  Get an early start to the day and watch the sun rise between the Karisimbi and Visoke volcanoes. After an invigorating breakfast complete with bacon and eggs, climb down the volcano and find yourself amidst magnificent and extremely diversified volcanic flora. Then after Lunch Departure to Idjwi Island by boat. Discover beautiful landscapes and authentic African villages. Walk around the village or use a moto taxi to meet local people and visit the island.

• Day 7 : Kivu, Rd Congo – Rwanda

  Departure back to Rwanda from Idjwi Island by boat and Cross Board back to Kigali
