Free time for you to roam around Goa in your own way. For to its scenic location on the Mandovi River, between the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea, Goa is one of India's key tourist places. The Portuguese, who claimed Goa as the bench of the Catholic Church in the East in the 1500s, restricted the area until 1961, when India intruded to release it. The state's Portuguese past is most noticeable in its plazas, cathedrals and structural designs and a few Portuguese claim that Goa preserves more old world heritage than most of Portugal. An enjoyable way to travel around Goa is by hiring a bike or scooter. They are available with no trouble, but you must have an International Drivers License and make available passport details.
Even though best recognized for its considerable stretch of wonderful, palm tree-lined beaches along the Arabian Sea coast, Goa offers other attractions as well, for example; the Portuguese Catholic Church of Old Goa, St. Anne's Church (an ornate marvel from the 1600s) and the Basilica of Bom Jesus. The nearby countryside is dotted with comfortable old estates built by wealthy Indians, including Braganza Palace, which is open to the community.
