Further continue drive to Jaipur enroute visitng Fatehpur Sikri. This deserted, red sandstone city, built by Emperor Akbar, between 1570 and 1585, now glows in its magnificent past. This was once the capital of the Moghul Empire for a short period but later abandoned due to scarcity of water. Here you will visit the Bulund Darwaza (The Gate of Victory), which is said to be the tallest gateway in the world. We will also visit Emperor Akbar's Residential complex, Mosque & Tomb of Salim Chisti. Further we continue our drive to Jaipur, the flamboyant & colourful capital of Rajasthan. With its rich & colourful past, resplendent with tales of valour & bravery, it is now one of the most important heritage cities in India. The city was founded in the year 1728 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber. It remains the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe, through nine rectangular sectors. Your personal guide will take you to these immaculate places.   After leisurely breakfast, our representative will take you out for full day sightseeing of Jaipur. Your Golden Triangle tour itinerary will be rewarded today. Early morning you will explore Amber Fort which is located 12 kms outside Jaipur. The original Palace was built by Raja Mansingh and later additions were made by Sawai Jai Singh. One of the finest example of Rajput architecture, it was the ancient capital of Kachhawa rulers. Enjoy the ascent to the palace on the back of a brightly caparisoned elephant. Spend the day touring this fascinating city, redolent with history.
