The historic cities of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur combine to provide travelers with a glimpse into the majesty of North India's Golden Triangle, which encompasses a wealth of architectural wonders.
The Hawa Mahal (Palace Of The Winds) and the City Palace, with its armoury and museum in the 'Pink City' of Jaipur, will transport you to that fascinating past. A definite highlight will be the thrilling elephant-back ride to the dramatic hilltop fortress of Amber.
Enroute to Agra you will visit the deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. This massive habitat was abandoned due to lack of water. Today, it remains a testament to the master builders of the Mughal Empire.
Finally, in Agra, you will see the fabulous Taj Mahal,explore the Red Fort with its assortment of palaces, moats and audience halls. Of particular interest is the marble balcony from where the imprisoned Shah Jehan looked out at his marvellous creation, the Taj Mahal.

Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
Meet-assist and transfer to hotel. Latter Sightseeing of Delhi. Old Delhi-Red Fort: The red stone walls of the fort extend from 2kms and vary in height from 18m on the riverside to 33m on the city side. The hall of public audiences, the hall of private audiences, the royal baths and Moti Masjid built by Aurangzeb for himself are important part of the immense fort. Jama Masjid: It is the largest mosque in India and the final architectural extravagance of Shanjahan. Raj Gath: The memorial of Mahatma Gandhi where he was cremated after his assassination. New Delhi-Laxmi Narayan Temple: Garishly colored modern temple is erected by the industrialist Birla. India Gate: The 42m high stone "Arch of Triumph", erected in the memory of Indian soldiers who died in the First World War. Humayun's Tomb: Built by wife of Humayun, the second Mughal king. It is an early example of Mughal architecture. Qutab Minar: The building complex dates back to the onset of Muslim rule in India and are fine examples of Afghan architecture. Night hault at New Delhi.
Day 2 : Delhi - Agra
Leave by surface to Agra (200 kms, 4 hrs) and on arrival transfer to hotel. Post lunch: City tour of Agra including Taj Mahal. (Taj Mahal is closed on Friday) Taj Mahal: It has been described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love, the emperor was heart broken when his wife Mumtaz died. It is completely built out of white marble. Agra Fort: The construction of the fort was commenced during the reign of Emperor Akbar and the additions were made till the time of his grandson Shah Jahan. During the time of Akbar it was primarily a military fort but later the focus shifted and it partially became a palace. Night hault at Agra.
Day 3 : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur
Leave by surface to Jaipur (230 kms, 5 hrs) en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Fathepur Sikri: It was the capital of Emperor Akbar but the city was abandoned dramatically mainly due to lack of water. Arrive Jaipur and transfer to hotel. Night halt at Jaipur.
Day 4 : Jaipur
After breakfast City tour. City Palace: The palace is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. A part of palace has been converted into museum. It has an impressive collection of arts, carpets, enamelware and weapons. Jantar Mantar: Raja Jai Singh built this observatory. Out of the five observatories this is the largest and the best preserved. Return to Hotel for lunch.
Post lunch Excursion to Amber fort and joy elephant ride. Amber Fort: Raja Man Singh the Rajput commander of Akbar's army constructed the fortress palace in the end of 16th century. The fort is superb example of Rajput architecture, stunning situated on a hilltop, overlooking a lake.
Day 5 : Jaipur - Delhi
Leave by surface ( 260 kms, 6 hrs) to Delhi .Arrive Delhi Check in the Hotel.
Day 6 : Delhi
Check out of the hotel Proceed to destination by air/rail.
