Leave For Agra In The Morning, Arrive By Early Afternoon En Route Visit Sikandra - Site Of Akbar’s Mausoleum. Proceed For Sightseeing
Taj Mahal - Described As The Most Extravagant Monument Ever Built For Love, It Was Constructed By Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan As A Memorial To His Queen Mumtaz Mahal, Made Out Of White Marble Took 22 Years To Complete (1630 - 1652 Ad). Ustad Ahamad Lahori, A Persian Architect, Is Said To Be The Main Designer And Planner For This Magnificent Memorial.
Itmad Ud Daulah’s Tomb - This Tomb Belongs To The Father Of Nur Jahan, Ghias - Ud - Din Beg. He Was The Wajir Or The Chief Minister Of Emperor Jehangir. This White Marble Tomb Was Built By Nur Jahan Between 1622 And 1628. The Tomb May Not Be As Mammoth As The Taj But The Inlay Designs And Carvings Are No Less Than Taj If Not More.
Agra Fort - Construction Of The Massive Red Sandstone Agra Fort On The Bank Of The Yamuna River Was Begun By Emperor Akbar In 1565, Though Additions Were Made Up Until The Rule Of His Grandson, Shah Jahan. In Akbar'S Time The Fort Was Principally A Military Structure, But During Shah Jaha Regin It Had Partially Become Palace. It Is An Imposing Strcture With Walls Of Red Sandstone Almost Three Kilometers Long. Entered Through The Amar Singh Gate, The Eastern Part Of The Fort Contain Palace, Audience Hall And Mosques Built By Three Emperors.

Day 2 : Agra - Ranthambore
Leave After A Scrumptious Breakfast Enroute Visit Fatehpur Sikri; Arrive In Ranthambore By Early Evening.
Ranthambore Is A Former Hunting Ground For The Maharajas Of Jaipur. It Is Spread Over An Area Of 1,334 Sq Km Along With Its Nearby Sanctuaries Like - The Mansingh Sanctuary And The Kaila Devi Sanctuary.The Park Is Majorly Famous For Its Tigers And Is One Of The Best Locations In India To See The Majestic Predators In Its Natural Habitat. The Tigers Can Be Easily Spotted Even During The Day Time Busy At Their Ordinary Quest - Hunting And Taking Proper Care Of Their Young Ones. Ranthambore Is Also Counted As The Famous Heritage Site Because Of The Pictorial Ruins That Dot The Wildlife Park.

It Houses The Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple And The City Palace Museum. Also Visit Hawa Mahal - The Ornamental Facade Of This "Palace Of Winds" Is A Prominent Landmark In Jaipur. Their Five - Storey Structures Of Sandstone Plastered Pink Encrusted With Fine Trelliswork And Elaborate Balconies. The Palace Has 953 Niches And Windows. Built In 1799 By Pratap Singh, The Mahal Was A Royal Grandstand For The Palace Women.
Jantar Mantar - This Is The Largest And The Best Preserved Of The Five Observatories Built By Jai Singh Ii In Different Parts Of The Country. This Observatory Consisting Of Outsized Astronomical Instruments Is Still In Use.

After A Scrumptious Breakfast, Leave For A Morning Tour To Amber Fort Palace - Amber Is The Classic Romantic Rajasthani Fort Palace. Its Construction Was Started By Man Singh I In 1592, And Completed By His Descendent Jai Singh I. Its Forbidding Exterior Belies An Inner Paradise Where A Beautiful Fusion Of Mughal And Hindu Styles Finds It'S Ultimate Expression.

Jaigarh Fort - Standing On A Hilltop, Overlooking The Palaces And City Of Amer. The World’s Biggest Cannon On Wheels - The Jai Ban Is Positioned Here, Built During Reign Of Maharaja Sawai Jaisingh.
Nahargarh Fort - Cresting On A Hill About 600 Ft. Above The City, The Fort Was Built In 1734. The Walls Of The Fort Run Along The Ridge And Within Are Architectural Beauties Like Hawa Mandir And Madhvendra Bhawan.
Take The Rest Of The Day To Roam The Markets Of Mi Road Or The Streets Of Hawa Mahal, In Search Of Locally Made Handicrafts & Textiles. Overnight At The Hotel.
Day 6 : Jaipur - Nawalgarh
Arrive In Nawalgarh By Early Morning.
This Would Be Our Base For The Next 2 Days And We Will Use This To Cover The Major Parts Of The Shekhawati Region Of Rajasthan.
The Towns Of Shekhawati Region Are Known For Their Amazing Painted Havelis. So Varied And Architecturally Rich Are The Havelis That This Region Is Dubbed As The "Open Art Gallery Of Rajasthan". The Plethora Of Painted Havelis In Rich Artistic Tradition Makes Them Fascinating. Most Of The Buildings Are Dated From 18Th Century To Early 20Th Century. The Shekhawati Region Is Dotted With So Many Havelis That Tracking Them Is Something Akin To A Treasure Hunt. Various Forms Of Fine Art Adorn The Walls And The Ceilings Of These Structures As A Contrast To The Otherwise Flat And Barren Land. The Havelis Are Noted For Their Frescoes Depicting Mythological Themes And Huge Animals.

Day 7 : Nawalgarh (Shekhwati Region)
Today We Will Plan Day Trips To Rest Of The Shekhawati Region. We Proceed To Dundlod - Lies In The Heart Of The Shekhawati Region About 7 Km From Nawalgarh. It Was Founded In 1750. The Fort Is A Blend Of The Rajput And Mughal Schools Art And Architecture. The Diwan - E - Khas (Hall Of Private Audience) Has Stained Glass Windows, Fine Antiques And An Impressive Library.
The Goenka Haveli Is Worth A Visit For Its Beautiful Frescoes, Fine Mirror Work Above The Windows And Features Of Florets And Birds In The Outer Courtyard. There Are Better - Preserved Paintings In A Few Other Havelis And Chattris. A Peep Into The Village On A Camel Safari Is Rather Interesting. Fine Breeding Of Horses Has Been A Passion With The Royals And The Tradition Continues. These Studs Are Available For Riding And Horse Safaris.
Mandawa - Founded In The Mid 18Th Century Mandawa Skyline Today Is Dominated By An Imposing Fort, Now A Heritage Hotel That Is Maintained In Classic Medieval Style With Modern Luxuries. The Archway Is Painted With Interesting Forms Of Lord Krishna And His Cowherds. The Sprawling Architecture Houses Different Themes In Different Wings. The Spacious Rooms Are Adorned By Intricate Interior Wall Paintings And Mirror Work With An Open Terrace That Offers A Panoramic View Of The Whole Town. Also Visit Jhunjhunu, Hisar; If Time Permits.
