The itinerary is basically based around the Golden Triangle in which we take in the compelling sights of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The national capital forms the start and end points, and there is plenty of time to visit all of the major places of interest built through several centuries and includes the Red Fort, the Gandhi Memorial and the magnificent Jama Masjid.

Towards west, in the desert, Jaipur - the Pink City of India - basks in its magnificent past, bellicose history, renowned tradition and architectural elegance. Agra, at the same time, does not need any introduction as the seat of the world’s prettiest building, the Taj.

Elsewhere on the tour we go looking for tigers and other wildlife at Ranthambore National Park, stop by at the abandoned Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, and journey east to Varanasi, a sacred city and hub of the Hindu religion. Then of course, a visit to the
bathing ghats on the Ganges is a profoundly memorable experience. We also enjoy a boat ride on the river in the early morning to make the most of this incredible sight, as well as taking a short trip out to the sacred Buddhist site of Sarnath.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi

  Arrive at the international airport of Delhi. After traditional welcome we transfer to the hotel for check-in. Rest of the day is free. Overnight Hotel

• Day 2 : Delhi

  Delhi half-day sightseeing: visit Jama Masjid, Gandhi Memorial, colonial buildings, India Gate and Humayun's Tomb. Evening transfer to railway station to catch train to Varanasi. Overnight Train

• Day 3 : Varanasi

  Early morning arrival and transfer to hotel for check-in. Then free morning. Afternoon trip to Sarnath. Optional evening visit to Ganges Ghats for puja ceremony. Overnight Hotel

• Day 4 : Varanasi

  Early morning boat ride on the Ganges to experience Hindu rituals being performed on the bathing Ghats. Afternoon is free to explore the town. Evening transfer to railway station for overnight train to Agra. Overnight Train

• Day 5 : Agra

  In the morning arrive in Agra and transfer to hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, visit Agra Fort. Then enjoy a free evening or an make an optional visit to Taj Mahal. Overnight Hotel

• Day 6 : Ranthambore

  Early morning visit to Taj Mahal at sun rise. Later drive to Ranthambore National Park. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri- the abandoned palace built by the Mughal king, Mohd. Akbar. Overnight Hotel

• Day 7 : Ranthambore

  There are two game drives into the Ranthambore National Park scheduled for the day. One in early morning and the other in late afternoon. Overnight Hotel

• Day 8 : Jaipur

  There is an option for another morning game drive for those who wish to make another foray into the jungle. In the afternoon drive to Jaipur. Overnight Hotel

• Day 9 : Jaipur

  In the full-day sightseeing programme in Jaipur visit Amer Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar (18th century observatory and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Overnight Hotel

  • Hotspots : Hawa Mahal, Amer Fort, City Palace

• Day 10 : Delhi

  Today drive from Jaipur to Delhi. Arrive in Delhi late in the afternoon and check into hotel. Enjoy a free evening relaxing or exploring the city. Overnight Hotel

• Day 11 : Delhi

  Today get transferred to the airport for flights to your respective destinations.
