The endearing GOLDEN TRIANGLE TOUR consists of the three frequent picks of the cities in the country’s northwest – Delhi, Agra and Jaipur that are all well-connected to one another by decent road and rail terminals. On the map, these somewhat form an equilateral triangle, approximately 200-250km along each side. This triangle has been entitled “golden” for the remarkable wealth of anthropological and classical brilliance on offer in each of the three cities.

JAIPUR, the capital city of the majorly desert state of Rajasthan, is shelter to some of Asia’s most popular bazaars. You can live weeks in Delhi, the sprawling, enthralling Indian capital, and not look it all, while AGRA, that once used to be the Heart of the Moghul Empire, claims the exceptional elegance of the Taj Mahal, which embellishes the banks of the Yamuna river. The Golden Triangle is a perfect introduction to India: If you’ve never been to this subcontinent before, start hither, which includes a flight into Delhi.

DELHI‘s chief “sight” is its street life. The teeming bazaars of creativity lie in “Old” Delhi, the city of the Moghuls, built in the 17th century and yet majorly Muslim: the enormous Jama Masjid governs the quarter. Its main boulevard, the turbulent Chandni Chowk, abuts the Red Fort, whose pristine lawns and lofty Moghul audience halls offers a peaceful harbor. British-built New Delhi in the south is a captivating contradiction, emitting out from the boutiques and cafés of Connaught Place: here, the dusty alleys are substituted for explicit, arrow-straight avenues and four-square buildings. The imperial mall, Rajpath, heads to the impressive arch of India Gate, invented by Edwin Lutyens in the 1920s, and now the cynosure of New Delhi’s passeggiata.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARRIVAL IN DELHI, ENJOY DELHI SIGHTSEEING A.M.

  Arrival at New Delhi airport and you will be met by our company representative. He will transfer you to the Hotel and assist you to check into the hotel.
  Check in time in the Hotel is normally 12:00 noon. However in case your flight is early we try to get you an early check in.
  Check into the Hotel.

  All guests to assemble in the Hotel lobby at 2:00pm. All guests who have signed up for the trip. We leave for a half day city tour of Delhi.
  The New Delhi capital was designed by Sir Edward Lutyens. We first start the day visiting:-
  2:30 p.m. – We drive for an interesting drive passing through the impressive Rajpath, World War I memorial arch, the India Gate towards the Presidential Palace and the Parliament house.
  4:00p.m. – The Qutub Minar, 72 metres high and the most curious minaret architecture. Visit the uncorroded Iron Pillar, which dates back to the 4th century AD.
  6:00 p.m. – Enjoy shopping in Dilli Haat. Situated in the heart of Delhi, the unique Delhi Haat is an upgraded version of the traditional weekly market, offering a delightful amalgam of craft, food and cultural activities offering a kaleidoscopic view of the richness and diversity of Indian handicrafts and artifacts.
  Enjoy delicious dinner in Dilli Haat
  9:00 p.m. – On the return back to the hotel, we again pass through the Raj path area crossing brilliantly lit India Gate and the President’s house. A great photo opportunity for the enthusiasts.
  Back to the Hotel and overnight stay at Hotel

• Day 2 : DELHI TO SHEKHAWATI REGION (MANDAWA) (268 KMS/ 5.30HRS.) A.M.

  8:00 a.m. – Post breakfast meet in the hotel lobby area for departure. Today we will drive to the rustic & romantic Shekhawati Region (Mandawa) of Rajasthan.
  Mandawa – A land famous for its beautiful castles and stunning havelis, Mandawa was founded by Thakur Nawal Singh in 1755. Also known as ‘the open air art gallery’ of Rajasthan, Mandawa is the capital of the Shekhawati region.
  Arrival at the Hotel around lunch time
  The local trip leader will assist you in checking into the hotel.
