Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi Airport.

  This morning pickup from airport / railway station and transfer to hotel after breakfast you will take a tour of the capital city of New Delhi where you will visit the Qutab Minar, India Gate and the President's Palace. The city is built in a typically British colonial style with tree-lined avenues, colonial bungalows, the Parliament House, the War Memorial Arch and the Vice Regal Palace, now the official residence of the President of India. Then, go down to Old Delhi to visit the Jama Masjid and the Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. You will drive past the Red Fort for a photograph opportunity. Return to the hotel. Over night at hotel.

• Day 2 : Delhi-Agra (203 kms)

  This morning depart by road for Agra, which is an interesting 4 hours drive covering a distance of 203kms. On your arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon visit the Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays) built in 1630 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his deceased wife Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. The monument has been described as the most extravagant ever built for love, for the emperor was heart-broken when Mumtaz, to whom he had been married for 17 years, and who died in 1629 in childbirth soon after delivering her 14th child after then visit Agra Fort -really a city within a city which embraces the Moti Masjid, the Diwan-i-Amor the Hall of Public Audiences, the Diwan-i-Khas or the Hall of Private Audiences,the Octagonal Tower, Jehangir's Palace and many more monuments.

• Day 3 : Agra-Jaipur ( 221 kms)

  This morning you will drive to JAIPUR- the pink city and the capital of India's most colourful state, Rajasthan. En route stop at FATEHPUR SIKRI, which is only 38kms (45 min. drive) from Agra. Spend an hour in this deserted capital which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned 15 years later due to a severe scarcity of water. You will visit the graceful buildings within such as the Jami Masjid, the tomb of Salim Chisti, the Panch Mahal and other palaces. On arrival check-in at hotel. After check in and relaxing for a while, visit the old (pink) city for its colourful and crowded bazaars. Spend time walking around in the by lanes, ouvenir hunting and haggling.

• Day 4 : Jaipur Tour.

  A late breakfast followed by excursion to AMBER FORT, 11kms from city. This fort-palace was begun by Raja Man Singh and used by the Rajputs as their stronghold until Sawai Jai Singh II moved to the newly created Jaipur. You will visit the palace and its many intricate chambers and hallways, which has breathtaking views of the Jal Mahal (Water Palace) below. Elephant taxis will be reserved for you for a memorable ride upto the fort. Afternoon enjoy a tour of the city visiting the Maharaja's City Palace, the Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Palace of Winds. Also, drive past the rose-pink residential and business areas of Jaipur.

• Day 5 : Jaipur-Delhi ( 258 kms)

  After breakfast check out hotel and drive back to Delhi after noon arrival Delhi and see the Aksherdham Temple. Evening for free for your own activities. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 6 : Delhi Airport to Leh

  After breakfast and check out from Hotel departure to Delhi Airport to catch flight for Leh.

  Upon arrival at Leh Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize. Evening Visit to Leh Market & Shanti Stupa, Leh Market. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 7 : Leh (Full Day Excursion)

  Post breakfast we drive towards Kargil road and start our sightseeing with Hall of Fame near Leh, which is worth a visit for every citizen. It is a glorious museum constructed by Indian army, Kali Mata Temple, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas, which was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. A drive of another 4 km takes us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up & further Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar river 4 km before Nimmu village. And Visit to Basgo, certainly the most impressive of Ladakhi citadels despite its ruined state. After visiting above places we drive back to Hotel for Overnight Stay.

• Day 8 : Leh to Pangong Lake Excursion (14,000 Ft.)

  After an early breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. After spending some time at Pangong we drive back to hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 9 : Leh to Nubra Valley (125 Kms / aprx. 06 hrs)

  After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive Sumur or Hunder by afternoon and rest of the day at leisure to explore beautiful village of Sumur & Hunder with a Visit to Diskit Monastery. Overnight stay at Camp.

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 10 : Nubra Valley to Leh

  After your breakfast at the camp, visit the SAND DUNES to enjoy a camel safari (Optional). Later we drive to Leh by same route over Khardung La. Afternoon at Leisure.. Overnight at hotel.

  • Themes : Jungle Safari, Camel Safari

• Day 11 : Leh-Delhi

  Transfer to Leh Airport to Delhi and transferred to hotel rest of the day is free for leisure.Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 12 : Delhi airport.

  After breakfast departure to Delhi airport for drop. Tour end.
