Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Delhi

  Arrival in Delhi and transfer to hotel.
• Day 2 : Delhi - Sariska (200 kms/ 4 hrs)

  Half day sightseeing of Delhi. Start the day with a visit to the tallest tower in Delhi, known as Qutub Minar. Following this visit the Lotus Temple & exploreNew Delhi which is also known as Lutyens Delhi, in the name of a British architect who was largely responsible for designing India Gate, The Presidential House, Secretariat, Parliament House and many other buildings in central Delhi. In the evening drive to Sariska & overnight at hotel.

• Day 3 : Sariska - Mandawa (250 kms/5 hrs)

  Sariska national park is one of the most visited national parks in India. It is situated in the hills of the Aravalli and is the former hunting preserve of The Maharaja of Alwar. Sariska National Park is home to numerous carnivores. Enjoy a jeep Safari in the park and then depart for Mandawa. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 4 : Mandawa - Jaipur (200 kms/ 4 hrs)

  Mandawa has been referred to as the "open art gallery" of Rajasthan because it is dotted with fascinating haveli’s (mansions) that have lavishly painted walls. The Mandawa Fort which was founded in the 18th century is the main attraction of the city and has now been converted into a heritage hotel. Proceed for Jaipur in the afternoon. Arrive in Jaipur and check into the hotel. For dinner you can enjoy an excursion to Chowki Dhani for a taste of authentic Rajasthani cuisine. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 5 : Jaipur

  The beautiful city of Jaipur epitomizes the spirit of Rajputana. Popularly known as the Pink City because of the extensive use of the locally abundant pink plastered stone. Start the day with a visit to the Amber Fort Palace and enjoy a ride on the back of a decorated elephant to the top of the fort. Next stop will be the City Palace- a delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture followed by Jantar Mantar- a 18th century observatory. Your visit to Jaipur ends with a visit to the Hawa Mahal- the ‘palace of winds’. Evening at leisure and enjoy the colourful markets of Jaipur. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 6 : Jaipur - Bharatpur(180 kms/ 3 hrs)

  Depart for Bharatpur early in the morning. Upon arrival check-in at hotel and later proceed to visit the Bharatpur Bird sanctuary with naturalist to see the beautiful species of birds. Evening free to explore and stay overnight at hotel.

• Day 7 : Bharatpur - Agra (60 kms/ 1hr)

  Depart for Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri en route, the now deserted city built by Emperor Akbar. Though the city took 15 years to build, it was abandoned after only 14 years because the water supply was unable to sustain the growing population. The surviving palace and mosque are a tourist attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arrive in Agra & check into the hotel. Visit theTaj Mahal -The world famous mausoleum of Shah Jahan’s wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj has been aptly described by the great Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore as a teardrop on the face of time The next stop for the day will be the Red Fort - which is 2.5 km northwest of the Taj Mahal. This is referred to as the most important fort in India. All great Mughal Emperors such as Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jehangir, Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb lived here. In the evening you are free to explore the magical markets of Agra .Overnight at hotel.

• Day 8 : Agra - Delhi (225 kms/ 4hrs)

  Depart for Delhi & visit Sikandra on the Delhi-Agra highway - The tomb of Akbar the Great & the first monument in Agra built in white marble and red sandstone. Arrive in Delhi and check into hotel & spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

  Transfer to Airport for onward flight.
