Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Bhubaneswar

  On arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport / Railway Station transfer to hotel. Later if time permits.
  1. Half day sightseeing of tribal museum (closed on Monday),
  2. Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves(Oldest rock cut caves, the caves are reminiscent of influence of Buddhism and Jainism in Odisha). Overnight at Bhubaneswar.
• Day 2 : Bhubaneswar

  Morning after breakfast:
  1. Visit to famous city temples including Lingaraj( the biggest temple in Bhubaneswar).,
  2. Parsurameswar Temple,
  3. Mukteswar Temple (known as the 'gem of Odisan architecture')
  4. Rajarani temple.
  5. After lunch break visit to Nandankanan Zoo (closed on Monday). This Zoo is famous for the white tiger safari and Botanical garden. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.

• Day 3 : Bhubaneswar - Dhauli - Hirapur - Pipli - Raghurajpur - Puri

  Morning
  1. Drive to Puri.
  2. Enroute visit Dhauli (Budhist stupa/ peace pagoda),
  3. Hirapur (64 yogini temple),
  4. Pipli (the appliqué work village)
  5. Raghurajpur (the Artisan village, the most famous attraction here are the Pattachitra (miniature paintings), palm leaf engravings, stone carvings, wooden toys, tusser paintings etc.
  6. Proceed to Puri and check in to the hotel.
  7. Evening visit of Lord Jagannath Temple (Non Hindus are not allowed).
  8. Relax on the golden beach of Puri. Overnight at Puri.

• Day 4 : Pur - Konark - Puri

  Morning:
  1. Drive to Konark to visit the Sun temple (one of the world famous heritage site & famously known as Black Pagoda).
  2. Enroute visit to Ramchandi Temple.
  3. Chandrabhaga beach (one of the finest beaches with a long stretch of clean sands & the beach has its own lovely serenity).
  4. Return back to Puri.
  5. Evening visit to beach market. Overnight at Puri.

  • Themes Heritage
• Day 5 : Puri - Chilika - Puri

  Morning:
  1. Drive to Chilika Lake at Satpada (largest brackish water lake). Take the boat cruise to visit the Irrawaddy Dolphins & Rajhans Island.
  2. Return back to Puri.
  3. Rest time relax on the golden beach. Overnight at Puri.

  • Themes Boat Cruise
• Day 6 : Puri - Bhubaneswar & Departure:

  Drive back to Bhubaneswar and transfer to airport / railway station for onwards journey.
