Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Delhi at 0540 hrs - Agra (235 Kms / 5.5 hrs)

  Early morning arrive at Delhi - IGI (Indira Gandhi International) airport. Delhi - is a city that bridges two different worlds. Old Delhi, once the capital of Islamic India, is a labyrinth of narrow lanes lined with crumbling havelis and formidable mosques. In contrast, the imperial city of New Delhi created by the British Raj is composed of spacious, tree-lined avenues and imposing government buildings. Delhi has been the seat of power for several rulers and many empires for about a millennium. Many a times the city was built, destroyed and then rebuilt here. Interestingly, a number of Delhi's rulers played a dual role, first as destroyers and then as creators. On arrival meeting, assistance at airport by our representative. Where our executive will explain the travel plan in detail and hand over the essential documents (Tour programme, hotel‟s vouchers, feedback report etc) to you. Later straight drive to Agra. Agra - the former capital of Hindustan, is a city on the banks of the river Yamuna. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 2 : Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (235 Kms / 5.5 hrs)

  After breakfast & checkout from the hotel visit Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday) - world's greatest monument to love. Emperor Shah Jahan built this pristine white marble mausoleum in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Agra Fort, built by the Mughal dynasty's greatest Emperor, Akbar, in 1565. A number of the fort‟s beautiful palaces, mosques and gardens were built by his successors in later years. Pearl Mosque, it shined like a pearl. It is held that this mosque was constructed by Shah Jahan for his members of royal court. Diwan-i-Khas - Here envoys and other honoured guests were granted a personal audience with the ruler. the Dīwān-e-Khās is a small marble structure near the Dīwān-e-Ām. Diwan-i-Aam - the ruler held mass audience. He would sit on his throne facing petitioners. His minister would assemble the petitions and refer them to the Dīwān-e-Khās for private audience. Jahangir Mahal - Jahangiri Mahal is the most important building of the Akbari period in the Agra Fort. Itmad - Ud – Daula known as the "Baby Taj", it is the first tomb in India built entirely in white marble. Sikandra – The great Mughal emperor Akbar‟s Tomb. Later drive to visit Fatehpur Sikri - constructed by Akbar in 1569 to honor Sufi saint Salim Chisti. Akbar‟s court occupied this city till it was abandoned due to non-availability of water but still in a state of perfect preservation. Continue drive to Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan, is popularly known as „The Pink City‟ for the colour of the buildings in its wonderful old city. On arrival, check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 3 : Onto Jaipur

  After an early breakfast at hotel, visit the majestic Amber Fort and Palace, Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. It‟s forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it‟s ultimate expression. Enjoy the unique experience of an ascent on the back of a brightly caparisoned elephant, up to the Fort. Later in the afternoon visit City Palace – A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum. Jantar Mantar – This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use. Nearby, the intriguing Palace of the Wind, the Hawa Mahal, was built in 1799 to allow ladies from the royal family to view the city and bazaar below in privacy. Jal Mahal (from outside) – Jal Mahal is known for its majestic architecture and sophisticated design. It was once used for the royal duck shooting parties. Evening free to explore local markets. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 4 : Jaipur – Delhi (265 Kms / 5.5 hrs)

  After breakfast & checkout from the hotel drive to Delhi. On arrival visit Jama Masjid - India's largest mosque and one can enjoy Cycle rickshaw ride in narrow alleys of old Delhi through Kinari Bazaar and 400 years old Chandni Chowk bazaars. Rajghat - crimination place of Mahatama Gandhi. Laxmi Narayan Temple, Humayun Tomb – Tomb of 2nd Mughal emperor and Qutab Minar the highest stone tower in India. India Gate - This solemn monument was built in memory of the 90,000 Indian soldiers who laid down their lives in the World War Ist. Drive past the Rashtrapathi Bhawan, Parliament House. Evening free to explore local markets at your own. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 5 : Delhi / Departure – Srinagar Arrival

  Early morning in time transfer to airport to board on flight for your onward destination. Arrival Srinagar Airport. Upon arrival you will met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Srinagar is located in the heart of the Kashmir valley at an altitude of 1,730 m (1530 feet) above sea level, spread on both sides of the river Jhelum. The Dal and Nagin lakes enhance its picturesque setting, while the changing play of the seasons and the salubrious climate ensures that the city is equally attractive to visitors around the year. Evening you can go for Shikara Ride. Overnight at hotel in Srinagar.

• Day 6 : Srinagar Local Sightseeing

  After breakfast visit Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, ChashmeShahi, PariMahal, Hazratbal & Jamai Masjid. Overnight at hotel in Srinagar.

• Day 7 : Srinagar - Excursion To Sonamarg (84 Kms / 02 & 1/2 Hrs One Way)

  After an early breakfast you will be driven to Sonamarg. Situated at an altitude of 2730 m. Sonamarg - 84 Kms is also called as “The meadow of Gold” has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meandeRs through the valley abounds with trout and Mahseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas Glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer months. Return back to Srinagar. Overnight at hotel in Srinagar.

• Day 8 : Srinagar To Yusmarg (47 Kms / 02 & ½ Hrs One Way

  A two hour drive from Srinagar ( 47 kms ) will take you to acres upon acres of grassy meadow ringed by forests of pine, and towering beyond them, awesome and majestic snow clad mountains. This is Yusmarg - close enough to Srinagar for a picnic, idyllic enough to make you want to stay for a few days. Here are walks of every sort - a leisurely amble along flower-strewn meadows or away to where a mighty river froths and crashes its way over rocks, its mild white foam earning it the name of Dudh Ganga. Further down, a captivating lake, Nilnag, is cradled by hills. Nearby are several peaks-Tatta Kutti and Sang Safed to name a couple of them. About 13 kms from Yusmarg, a short detour away from the Srinagar road, is Charari- Sharief, the Shrine of Kashmir‟s patron saint Sheikh Noor-ud-din or Nund Reshi.Overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.

• Day 9 : Srinagar To Gulmarg (55 Kms / 1&1/2 Hrs – One Way)

  After breakfast you will be driven to Gulmarg. With the setting up of the Gondola Cable Car, Gulmarg has become the highest lift-served ski resort in the world providing a downhill ski run of 5.2 km from a height of 14,000 ft in the Apharwat range. It is also the longest gondola served ski-lift in Asia. take a fun-filled Gondola Ride. Overnight at hotel in Srinagar.

• Day 10 : Srinagar To Pahalgam (95 Kms / 03 Hrs – One Way)

  Post Breakfast we proceed to Pahalgam, also called as “Valley of Shepherds” situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River, Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd's Village with breathtaking views. Now it is Kashmir's premier resort, cool even during the height of summer when the maximum temperature does not exceed 25C. Take a leisurely stroll or pony rides across these beautiful pinewoods to a place known here among tourists as Mini-Switzerland(Baisaran). Overnight at hotel in Pahalgam.

  After breakfast, you will be driven to Chatpal. It is 93 Kms from Srinagar and 58 Kms from Pahalgam. The Chatpal is one of the unexplored paradise Kashmir is blessed with. Located in South Kashmir, in the Shangus district, this is a perfect dream location. Endowed with lush green forests, lofty mountains, melodious springs bustling with milky white water gushing down the mountainous terrain and serene ambiance a blissful change from chaos of cities. The skies are shaded in clear blues which in evenings are washed by fiery red of the sun. The beautiful environs can only be justified by saying it‟s a fairytale vacation in the lap of Himalayas. The true definition of „untouched natural beauty‟ remains unclear until you step in the land of Chatpal. There are no prominent tourist attractions but it provides peace, serenity and untouched natural and God gifted beauty. • Day 13 : Srinagar To Doodhpathri (50 Kms / 1 &1/2 Hrs – One Way)

  After breakfast, you will be driven to Doodhpathri. Situated at an altitude of 2730m above sea level in the south-west of Kashmir valley lies nature's masterpiece – Doodhpathri. Lofty mountains, velvet-like green meadows, sky touching trees, crystal-clear water and life-giving air all make Doodhpathri an unmatched and unparalleled Tourist Destination. The origin of the name Doodhpathri is not completely known. Some say that the milky water that flows in its rivers gives this place its name. "The water flows very fast. When it strikes against the stones, it forms a milky-white appearance; hence the name,” explains Bashir Mazhami, a teacher and a writer. Some say that high milk production gives it the name. "A flowing river resounds with soft wind passing through the pine trees of the enclosures of the valley. It is also called as a "valley of milk" because it produces rich milk in large quantity." Nishat Tours And Travels will not bear any cost for flight cancelled or delayed due to Bad weather or any other reason given by the airline. Cost for accommodation and transport in such cases will have to be borne by passenger.
No Refund or Compensation for any unused services or transport in any kind of circumstance.
No changes in the date of travel once booked.
