Day 5 : Jaipur-pathankot By Evening Train (depart At 1630 Hrs).

Wake up in the morning and breakfast is ready for you in hotel’s restaurant. After breakfast our driver will meet you in the hotel to start a city tour of Jaipur.

Visit the vast Amber Fort situated in Amer at a distance of about 11 kms from Jaipur. It was the old capital of Rajasthan before Jaipur. It is set high on a hill and you can go there by enjoying Royal Elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravallis to the fort entrance. Fort built with red sandstone and marble overlooks Maota lake. Fort was constructed by Raja Man Singh I in 1592, the Rajput commander of Akbar’s army. It consists of many pavilions and halls which highlights the wonderful carvings and mirror work – designed in Indian and Mughal architecture.

Afternoon, enjoy the city tour of Jaipur by covering the miniature of City Palace-a landmark of Jaipur consists a rich collection of costumes, textiles armory and weapons. A major part of the palace has been turned into a museum now which is home to unique handcrafted products, Jantar Mantar – a largest astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh II in 1728.

Drive past the Hawa Mahal also known as ‘Palace of Winds’ It was originally built for the ladies of the royal family to watch everyday life and processions in the city from their veiled comfort. Later at around 1500 hrs departure transfer to railway station to board the train to Pathankot.
