Day 1 : Arrival at Delhi
Once you arrive at Delhi Airport in the morning, you will be warmly welcomed by the Footloose Holidays representative. Check-in at the hotel and freshen up before you decide to explore the National capital. As you drive through the fascinating and intriguing streets of Delhi, you get the view of Rajpath, which displays the beauty of India Gate at one end and the President’s House also known as Rastrapathi Bhawan at the other end. This ceremonial boulevard proudly displays the Republic day’s parade on 26th January every year. Also visit Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar, historical landmarks of the city witness since the Mughal period. By the evening, it is time to return to the hotel where sumptuous dinner and overnight stay await you in this city with rich past and promising future.
Day 2 : Delhi Sightseeing Tour Continues
Next morning, post a hearty breakfast, proceed for this amazing tour of Old Delhi where the architectural wonders like the Raj Ghat, the Jama Masjid, the imposing Ashoka Pillar and Red fort will leave you spellbound with the uniqueness that each of the monuments hold. Coming to Old Delhi is never complete without visiting the bustling Chandni Chowk Bazaar which offers shopping opportunity as well as the authentic flavours of Delhi that can only be tasted here against vibrant, chaotic and noisy background. Return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay to be rejuvenated for more eventful tomorrow.
Day 3 : Delhi – Agra 250kms/5hrs
Following a lavish breakfast, it is time to say goodbye to Delhi and to be driven down to Agra, Uttar Pradesh, the city which has held attention of the entire world as it proudly displays one of the wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal, a pristine white marble mausoleum, built to symbolise eternal love by one of the Mughal Emperors in the loving memory of his beloved wife. On arrival at Agra, check in at the hotel pre-booked for you. Freshen up and relax a bit before you visit this breathtakingly beautiful monument, which is going to be forever etched in your memory. Come back to the hotel and enjoy your delicious dinner and overnight stay in Agra.
Day 4 : Agra – Ranthambore 250kms/5hrs
Next morning, enjoy early breakfast as it is time to proceed for a visit to the famous Agra Fort, a red sandstone monument, which was an abode of the Mughal emperors, so huge and magnificent as to give an impression of a city. Thereafter, you will be driven to Ranthambore, a vast wildlife reserve, home to tigers, leopards and marsh crocodiles. En route, visit the abandoned city, Fatehpur Sikri. This city built by the Mughal emperor Akbar, displays a blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture which was abandoned later on due to the scarcity of water. On arrival at Ranthambore, check-in at the pre-booked hotel. Enjoy a refreshing cup of tea/coffee/juice, and head for the first view of Sawai Madhopur, a city giving you a peek- a- boo in the desert life, where colourful and vibrant attires of the residents are in complete contrast with the rustic background. Enjoy the fascinating sunset before you head back for Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 : Ranthambore – Jaipur 180kms/3hrs
Early morning, the next day, proceed to visit Ranthambore National Park & Tiger Reserve which can be enjoyed in Canter safari vehicle in order to give you a clear view of the wildlife present in the park. It is quite frequent when a tiger has been spotted by the tourists and there is no bigger thrill than looking at this majestic creature, so close to you. You will also have a wonderful opportunity to get to see many other wild animals and birds. Return to the hotel to enjoy your breakfast after this thrilling adventure. It is also now time to check-out from the hotel and be driven to Jaipur. Once you arrive at the Pink City, check-in at the hotel pre-booked for you and take a good overnight rest at the hotel so that you enjoy each and every moment of being in Jaipur the next day.
Day 6 : Jaipur Sightseeing
Have a hearty morning meal at the hotel before you proceed for the sightseeing tour of Pink City, the capital city of the desert state, Rajasthan. Begin your sightseeing trip from a visit to Hawa Mahal, the famous landmark of Jaipur that has truly established its identity, located amidst the vibrant market place, adding true shades of Rajasthan to this unique monument. Your next destination, City Palace – the palace still serves as home to the former Maharaja, giving one a complete insight into his life. Located close by is Jantar Mantar – an astronomical observatory, proudly displaying the collection of architectural astronomical instruments built by a Rajput King to stimulate interest in astronomy. You can also enjoy shopping at the old bazaars of Jaipur which are within the vicinity of these beautiful monuments. Dinner and overnight stay await you at the hotel.
Day 7 : Jaipur – Back Home
Wake up in the morning with that feeling of excitement and anticipation as post a relaxed and lavish breakfast; you will be proceeding for a visit to Amber fort, which steals your heart at the first sight as this magnificent structure tells you a saga of valour and rich culture of the Rajputs. While driving down, enjoy clicking a few pictures at Jal Mahal, a palace located in the middle of a lake followed by the local market visit for shopping of mojris, jewellery and clothes. In the evening, you will be dropped at airport/railway station for journey back home. Take along with many other keepsakes, the beautiful memories of this wonderful getaway.
