Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive at Delhi international airport. On arrival at the airport arrival lounge, our representative will receive you with holding a placard of yours name & will escort you till your hotel check in. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 : Full Day In Delhi
After breakfast at the hotel, we will go on full day guided city sightseeing of the capital city of India. In first half we will visit Old Delhi, the 17th century walled city of Shah Jahanabad, Visiting the great Jama Masjid, the principal mosque of Old Delhi. Built in the year 1656 AD by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it is the largest & best known mosque in India. Later we walk down or take a rickshaw ride through Chandi Chowk, the old marketplace of Shah Jahanabad now a picturesque bazaar to reach Red Fort, built in the year 1648 by Shah Jeha -
After lunch we will visit New Delhi, visiting Raj Ghat, memorial to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation on 31 January 1948. Further we drive past India Gate, memorial built in the year 1931 to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in the World War I & the Afghan Wars. The names of the soldiers who died in these wars are inscribed on the walls. President's House, the official residence of the President of India, built in the year 1931. Until 1950 it was known as Viceroy's House & served as the residence of the Governor-General of British India.
We will also visit Humayun's Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built in the year 1562. The complex is a World Heritage Site & the first example of this type of Mughal architecture in India. Qutub Minar, built in the year 1206 by Qutub-ud-din Aibek. It is the tallest (72m) brick minaret in the world, an important example of Indo-Islamic Architecture. Qutub Minar & its monuments are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 : Delhi - Jaipur (259kms/ 6hrs Drive)
After breakfast we will drive to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. Jaipur popularly known as the Pink City because of the color of the stone used exclusively in the walled city. The city was the stronghold of a family of rulers whose three hill forts and series of palaces in the city are important attractions. On reaching to this beautiful city transfer to the hotel. In the evening explore its colorful markets who sell embroidered leather shoes, blue pottery, tie and dye scarves and other exotic wares. Evening return back to the hotel for overnight.
Day 4 : Full Day In Jaipur
After breakfast we will go on an excursion tour of Amber Fort, at a short distance of 11 kms from Jaipur, the Amber Fort complex stands amidst wooded hills overlooking the Delhi-Jaipur highway, with its forbidding ramparts reflected in the still waters of the Maota Lake below. One of the finest examples of Rajput architecture, it was the ancient capital of the Kachhawah rulers. The original palace was built by Raja Man Singh and additions were made later by Sawai Jai Singh.) In the afternoon we will take a guided tour of Jaipur city, visiting City Palace, Jantar Mantar (natural observatory), Hawa Mahal ( Palace of winds) and Birala temple etc. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5 : Jaipur - Ranthambhore (180kms/ 4 hrs drive)
Today after breakfast we will drive to the tiger country, Ranthambhore National Park. A 04 hrs drive from Jaipur will take you to thrilling adventure safari destination. Upon arrival transfer to the wildlife resort. After lunch the park vehicle will be ready to take you to the Ranthambhore forest. Later return to the resort for overnight stay.
Day 6 : Full Day In Ranthambhore
Today we will go to Ranthambhore national park twice for its scheduled safaris. For the same we will visit the in morning before breakfast and in the noon after lunch. Overnight stay at resort.
Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve, situated at the junction of the Aravalis and the Vindhyas hills, is a unique example of natural and historical richness, standing out in the vast, arid and denuded tract of eastern Rajasthan. Tiger is the apex among the big cats in Ranthambhore, the other kinds of cats found here are Leopard (Panthera pardus), Caracal (Felis caracal), Leopard Cat (Felis bengalensis), Fishing Cat (Felis viverrina) and the Jungle Cat (Felis chaus). Besides the big cats, the other large predators found in Ranthambhore include Sloth Bear, Striped Hyena, Wolf, Wild dog (or Dhole), Jackal, Indian Fox, Palm Civet, Small Indian Civet, Common Indian Mongoose, Small Indian Mongoose, Ratel (or Honey Badger), Marsh Crocodile and the Indian Python. There are two species of Antlers, namely the Spotted Deer (or Chital) and the Sambhar Deer, and, two kinds of Antelopes, namely the Indian Gazelle (or Chinkara) and the Bluebull (or Neelgai).
Day 7 : Ranthambhore - Agra (260kms/ 6 hrs drive)
Morning after breakfast drive to Agra, the city of Love. En-route we will visit Fateh Pur Sikri.
Fatehpur Sikri was built during 1571 and 1585 which is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendor at its height. Though the city is in ruins, but it a still a worth to visit. The sunset over the ruins is sight to cherish. Further continue drive to Agra. On arrival a check into the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8 : Agra - Delhi, 203 Km
Today we visit Taj Mahal, symbol of eternal love, which stands on the banks of River Yamuna. It was built by the 5th Mughal emperor, Shah Jehan in the year 1631 in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It was completed in 22 years. Further we visit Agra Fort, taken over from the Lodhis by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century. The Fort can be more accurately described as a walled palatial city. It was built from red sandstone, often inlaid with white marble & intricate decorations. We will also visit Sikandara, Akbar's tomb before leaving for Delhi. His son Jahangir completed the construction of the tomb in the year 1613. Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb, built by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628. It belongs to the father of Nur Jahan, Ghiyas-ud-Din Beg. He was the Wajir (Chief Minister of Emperor Jehangir). This white marble tomb was the first complete marble Mughal structure. Later in the afternoon drive to Delhi. Upon reaching transfer to the International airport for onward connection.
