Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
Upon your arrival at the airport/ railway station, meet our representative awaiting just outside the arrival hall, past the customs area & currency shops. Later at the hotel our representative will brief you about tour starting day after. Delhi, the national capital of India is an historic city and commercial center of Northern India. Numerous dynasties ruled and flourished each bequeathing the city with different colors, shades and folds of civilization as heritage. With a multi-ethnic society, Delhi welcomes all to witness a miniature of the vast Indian subcontinent
Day 2 : Delhi
A full day sightseeing tour of Delhi is planned for the day. Today Delhi will unleash its historic and cultural heritage as you are introduced to various awe inspiring monuments. Start exploring from the undulated lanes of Old Delhi. The attractions here worth visiting first include the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site of Red Fort and the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. The day tour will also include visits to one of the largest brick minarets of the world- Qutab Minar, white lotus shaped Bahai Temple- Lotus Temple, the stunning Humayun's Tomb built in 1562 CE, and beauteous Laxmi Narayan Temple. Visit the eclectic mix of modern and cosmopolitan worlds of India and take a sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Once called Lutyens Delhi, the area of New Delhi was designed by British architect, Sir Edward Lutyens. These glorious imitations of Victorian style architecture have always been an eye-candy for the connoisseurs of art and architecture. Enjoy a drive past monuments of national significance such as Presidents House, Parliament House and later enjoy a night view of India Gate under starlit sky here
Day 3 : Delhi - Jaipur
This morning depart from Delhi by private car for Jaipur-the pink city. In the afternoon, tour the old walled city of Jaipur. Visit the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory- an assortment of architectural astronomical instruments. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh II it consists of fourteen major geometric devices for measuring time and predicting eclipses etc. Stunning City Palace will be the next destination on this city tour. City Palace is a complex of various palaces in Jaipur which is an erstwhile seat of Maharaja of the region. Drive-by the stunning Hawa Mahal- a palace with hundreds of ornamental windows, built for royal ladies to be able to watch the daily processions of city
Day 4 : Jaipur
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel and leave for a half-day sightseeing tour to the hilltop fortress of Amber. A small trek up the hill will be covered while riding an elephant in the royal manner. The fort was built in 1592 under the reign of Raja Man Singh and was later modified by successive rulers for next 150 years. Today the structure stands with its beautifully carved ceilings, intricate patterns and stunning designs. In the afternoon, tour the old walled city of Jaipur. Day 5 : Jaipur - Ranthambore
This morning, drive to Ranthambore Tiger Sanctuary, that homes over 300 species of birds. You will be accompanied by a naturalist into the park for evening safari on an exclusive jeep. Situated in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan the park was declared a sanctuary in 1955 and became a national park in 1980. Ranthambore Wildlife Sanctuary is renowned for high density of tiger populations and is surely one of the best places to spot the majestic predators in action. Other wild creatures that have made the park their home include leopards, nilgai, wild boar, sambar, sloth bear, hyena and chital and varied species of birds and reptiles. Follow the trails of wilderness for exciting game viewing and wait for the call of the wilds to track their location for a perfect exhilarating wildlife safari. Following dinner there may be a slideshow and an orientation talk about the park and it's wildlife by the lodge staff
Day 6 : Ranthambore
Early morning a jeep safari (Additional cost) into the park which is one of the finest tiger reserves in the country. You may like to spend the afternoon visiting nearby temples and famous sites. Also visit the Ranthambore Fort, regarded as one of the oldest forts of Rajasthan. Now mostly in ruins the fort is characterized by its temples, tanks, massive gates and huge walls. You will have another opportunity in the afternoon for tiger spotting during your second safari of the day
Day 7 : Ranthambore - Agra
Driving from Ranthambore to Agra you break the journey at Fatehpur Sikri an amazing ghost town that was once the capital of the Mughal Empire. The monuments and edifices of Fatehpur Sikri are applauded by UNESCO for they showcase a beauteous synthesis of various regional schools of architecture and influences of Hindu, Jain and Islamic architectural styles. Explore the beautiful edifices which includes Jama Masjid, the Buland Darwaza, palace of Queen Jodha Bai, Birbal's Palace, tomb of Saint Salim Chisti inside. You will then continue the drive to Agra
Day 8 : Agra - Delhi
Morning drive to Delhi en-route visiting Sikandra. The magnificent specimen of Mughal architecture, Tomb of Akbar the Great is situated at Sikandra. A connoisseur of art Mughal Emperor himself initiated the construction around 1600. After his death his son Jehangir completed the tomb. Later in evening arrive at Delhi airport for your onward flight
