Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive New Delhi

  Airport to hotel transfer by company representative.

• Day 2 : New Delhi

  Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for full day tour of Old Delhi. Highlights –
  Visiting the Red Fort (built 1648), the Jama Masjid (built 1658), a rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, drive past India Gate and the presidential Palace on to Humayun's tomb, ending with a visit to Qutab Minar.

  • Themes : Heritage

• Day 3 : Drive Delhi - Jaipur (255 km, 5 hrs.)

  En-route stopover at a highway motel. Check-in at Jaipur hotel. Post lunch visit the Prince Albert Museum.

  • Themes : Forts and Palaces

• Day 4 : Jaipur

  Full day sight seeing of Jaipur. Highlights - visiting Amber Fort, the City Palace, Jantar Mantar observatory and Hawa Mahal (built 1799, the Palace of Winds).

• Day 5 : Drive Jaipur - Agra (250 km, 6 hrs.)

  En-route Agra visit Fatehpur Sikri (built 1570). Check-in at Agra hotel. Post lunch visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

• Day 6 : Drive Agra - Gwalior (100 km, 6 hrs.)

  After breakfast drive to Gwalior (central India, Madhya Pradesh). Highlight - the palace complex of Gwalior Fort.

• Day 7 : Drive Gwalior - Orchha (130 km, 2 hrs.)

  After breakfast drive to Orcha in Madhya Pradesh. Visit the Jehangir Mahal and the temple or Lord Rama.

• Day 8 : Drive Orchha - Khajuraho (175 km, 4 hrs.)

  Check-in at Khajuraho hotel. Visit the Southern group of temples. Highlight - the Chaturbhuj Temple of Lord Vishnu. Later, witness a Sound & Light show at the Western group of temples.

  • Themes : Religious & Pilgrimage

• Day 9 : Fly Khajuraho - Varanasi

  After breakfast at hotel, visit the Western group of Khajuraho temples. Highlights - Kandariya Mahadev temple, Chitragupta temple, Vishwanath temple, Nandi temple, Lakshman temple.
  Transfer to airport for flight to Varanasi. Airport to hotel transfer. Later, visit the banks of the holy river Ganges to witness Hindu ceremonies and rituals.

  • Hotspots : Vishwanath Temple

• Day 10 : Varanasi

  Early morning, boat ride on the river Ganges, to witness the early morning rituals of devout Hindus. Later, visit Vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple and Benaras Hindu University. In the evening, visit Sarnath - the Place where lord Buddha gave his first sermon after enlightenment.

• Day 11 : Fly Varanasi - Delhi - Home

  Morning flight Varanasi - Delhi. Transfer to New Delhi hotel for wash and change. Transfer to international airport for flight back home.
