This Tour takes you to Delhi/Jaipur/Agra/Khajuraho/Varanasi where you will be able to see and enjoy Muslim Mosque, Red Fort, Hindu temple, Taj Mahal (One of the seven wonders of the world), Pink city of Rajasthan (Jaipur), house of Forts & Palaces, observatory, 10th Century temples which are famous for the sensual appeal of its erotic sculptures, Ganges, World Famous temples and Sarnath (where Lord Budha gave his first sermon). Enjoy Elephant ride at Amber Fort/Jaipur which adds to the beauty of this journey and where you will feel like a Maharaja (King) and Boat Ride on the Ganges to see the evening aarti.
Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi airport and transfer to the hotel. Later drive to take a combined tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi. The Older part of Capital takes you to theRed Fort with its Pearl Mosque and exquisite audience halls, Jama Masjid Mosque, with its marble domes and slender minarets; Raj Ghat (where Mahatma Ghandhi cremated). The Modern area takes you on a drive along Rajpath, New Delhi's broadest avenue, and see The House of Parliament, the dIplomatic enclave and the President's House - The Royale Residency of the former viceroys and now the President of India. Visit theIndia Gate and The Qutub Minar built in the 12th century. Evening drive back to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.Overnight will be at Delhi.
Day 2 : Delhi
After breakfast, drive to enjoy full day tour to Akshardham Temple. Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi epitome 10,000 years of Indian culture in all its breathtaking grandeur, beauty, wisdom and bliss. It brilliantly showcases the essence of India’s ancient architecture, traditions and timeless spiritual messages. The Akshardham experience is an enlightening journey through India’s glorious art, values and contributions for the progress, happiness and harmony of mankind. Evening is free for shopping. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : Delhi-Jaipur (250 kms- 5.5 hrs)
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 : Jaipur
After breakfast, later take a city tour. Amber Fort - Amber Fort is located in Amber (Jaipur), which used to be the capital of the Kachhwaha clan, till Jaipur was made the official capital in 1727. Amber Fort is usually pronounced as Amer Fort. In 1592, construction of the Fort was started by Raja Man Singh I. However, the Amber Fort took its present form during the reign of Raja Jai Singh I. Hawa Mahal is a major landmark and a famous tourist attraction of Jaipur. The Palace offers a beautiful sight to behold. The splendid Rajputana architecture of Hawa Mahal, still speaks the glory of the royal family. Among the various forts and palaces of Jaipur, City Palace stands apart, with its outstanding art and architecture. City Palacecomplex covers a huge area, which is divided into a series of gardens, courtyards and buildings. Initially, Raja Jai Singh built the outer wall occupying a huge area. The additional grand buildings were constructed later by the succeeding rulers. Jantar Mantar at Jaipur is the largest stone observatory in the World and this feature makes it, a special destination for a traveler. Jantar Mantar of Jaipur is one of the five astronomical observatories built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the founder of Jaipur. During the period between 1727 and 1733, Jantar Mantar took its form and structure. Initially Jantar Mantar was named as Yantra Mantra, which means instruments and formulae, but due to mispronunciation of the term, it is changed to the recognized name. Later return back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
After breakfast drive to Agra (The city of Taj Mahal En- route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world. Reach and check in at hotel. Afternoon, sightseeing tour of Agra city visiting the impressive Agra Fort, the local bazaar. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 : Agra – Jhansi – Khajuraho (BY TRAIN)
Enjoy Sunrise at TAJ MAHAL. Little needs to be said about this architectural wonder which is always the soul raison-de-etre for every tourist's visit to Agra. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. After breakfast, transfer to the railway station to board the train for Jhansi. Upon arrival at Jhansi railway station, drive to Khajuraho.,en-route visit Orcha. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight in the hotel
Day 7 : Khajuraho - Varanasi
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to visit:- Khajuraho- the legendary temples of Khajuraho are an incomparable experience. Acknowledged as one of the world’s artistic wonders, these temples dedicated to the Hindu pantheon of Gods are covered in carvings that are a paean to life and love. Built within a short span of a hundred years by the Chandela Rajputs, the 10th century temples lay forgotten until they were discovered in the present century. Khajuraho has achieved fame for the sensual appeal of its erotic sculptures. After breakfast explore the Western and Eastern temples of Khajuraho while your guide explains the intricate meaning and legends behind each describable sculpture. Later transfer to the airport for flight to Varanasi- said to be the India’s most sacred city situated on the western bank of the holy river Ganga. Arrive Varanasi and transfer to hotel. Evening view “Aarti” ceremony on the Ghats. Night stay in Varanasi.
Day 8 : Varanasi
After breakfast, enjoy boat cruise at the river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats. Later excursion to Sarnath,10kms. East of Varanasi, is one of the Buddhism’s major centers of India. After attaining enlightenment, the Buddha came to Sarnath where he gave his first sermon. The Kashi Vishwanath Temple/ Gyanvapi Mosque:- This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Durga Temple, Bharat Mata Temple
This temple is dedicated to Mother India. Just one kilometer from the Varanasi station. Tulsi Manas Temple:- This temple is dedicated to Lord Rama
Day 9 : Varanasi – Depart
After breakfast. Check-out from hotel and drive to Varanasi Airport to board the flight for onward the journey with fond memories of the trip.
