Day 1 : Arrival Amritsar
Arrive at Amritsar . Amritsar means a pool of nectar; It was once a small village with a sacred pon and of recent it has grown into one of India's fascinating cities and the centre of the Sikh culture in India. Amritsar is the passion of Punjab State and has always been in the forefront as it was always religiously as well as politicaly active in Indian history. From the airport get transferred to Hotel. Check into Hotel and Relax for the day overnight's stay at Hotel in Amritsar.
Day 2 : : Amritsar Sight seeing and Stay
After breakfast visit the incarnation of the Sikh temples, the Golden temple. The upper half was studded with copper covered over by gold plate by the King of Patiala. People from allover the world come to visit this temple. The architecture of this temple is a mixture of Hindu and Muslim styles. The golden arched ceiling is meant to represent an inverted lotus flower and the interior of the temple is decorated with semi precious stones, paints and glasswork.. Post Lunch visit the Jallianwala Bagh, .This site brings the barbarity of the British over the innocent Indians to your mind and tears in your eyes. Later drive to the Wagah Border which is the final frontie that crosses between India and Pakistan. You can Watch the perfect symphony and harmony from both the sides when the change of guards takes place every evening. You can see one side of Pakistan which was once a part of India By late evening return to Hotel Overnight's stay.
Day 3 : Amritsar - Delhi (2014 Amritsar Shatabdi 0515/1105 hrs) - Agra
Early in the morning you are required to take the fastest train to the Capital, Delhi . Delhi has always remained the capital of India.Have your lunch on the way ..Later post lunch proceed to Agra Check into the Hotel. Towards evening you can visit the Handicrafts emporium of Agra . Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 4 : Agra Sight seeing and Stay
After breakfast proceed for full-day city tour of Agra Fort , Itamad Ud Daula’s Tomb and Taj Mahal. Later proceed to the Agra Fort (also famously known as the Red Fort) which is noted for its fine views of the Taj Mahal from across the River Yamuna . Taj Mahal is known as the most extravagant monument ever built for love, Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Later visit the Red fort of Agra. The fort is built with Red Sand stone and is supposed to be the antecedent of the Red Fort of Delhi.. Post Lunch visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-daullah- built by Empress Noorjehan in the memory of her father. Overnight in Hotel Please Note that The Taj Mahal remains closed every Friday.
Day 5 : Agra - Jaipur
After breakfast proceed to the capital of Rajasthan Jaipur (05 hrs. drive) which is also known as the pink city of India.On the way visit Fatehpur - Sikri (40 kms. From Agra) which was once the capital of Mughal Empire and got abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. Its defensive walls and Palaces are in a wonderful state of preservation.. Evening time free to visit the Handicraft emporiums of Jaipur. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 6 : Jaipur Sight seeing and Stay
After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing of the Pink City. City Tour of Jaipur begins with an excursion to the city including ride on a painted elephant to the magnificent fortress-palace at Amber. Amber Fort is a fine example of the blending of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Post lunch city Visit City Palace in which was the former Maharaja still resides in a part of it, but rest of the Palace now serves as a Museum. Also visit Jantar Mantar which is an observatory that was built by a great astronomer named Sawai Jai Singh . Alos visit Hawa Mahal known as Palace of winds. Overnight's stay at Hotel in Jaipur.
Day 7 : Jaipur – Delhi Departure
After breakfast proceed to Delhi (05 hrs. drive). Upon arrival in Delhi and post Lunch proceed for half day sightseeing of Delhi.. The city is split into two sections , old Delhi and New Delhi. Visit Qutab Minar which is tallest stone tower in India, Humayun Tomb, Chattarpur Temple , India Gate, Parliament street as per Time limit. Later get dropped at Delhi airport for onward departure.
