Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi You are received and welcomed by our representative at the airport & Transfer to hotel. He will present you the travel documents Rest of the day free for independent activities.
Day 2 : Delhi Sightseeing
New Delhi: designed and built by the British in the 1920's it's a city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, green parks and gardens. First you will visit two monuments from Delhi's past Humayun's Tomb and Qutab Minar. Then your drive takes you along the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate and Parliament House.
Old Delhi: an ancient walled city. Here you will see Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Moghul Empire; Raj Ghat, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi; Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India and Chandni Chowk, the bustling and colorful market of the old city.
Day 3 : Delhi To Agra (200 Kms. /3-4 Hours) (Taj Mahal Is Closed On Friday)
Drive to Agra, check in the hotel. In the afternoon reach Agra and check in at your hotel. Later proceed for the city sightseeing tour visiting The Taj Mahal, which is entirely made of white marble and its walls are decorated with exquisite pietra dura (precious and semi precious stone inlay) work. Also visit Agra Fort (also called the Red Fort), which retains the irregular outline of the demolished mud-wall fort of the Lodis. The Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daula's is located in a walled garden overlooking the Yamuna.
Day 4 : Agra To Jaipur Via Fatehpur Sikri (250 Kms. /5-6 Hours)
Drive to Jaipur en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri - built in Red Sandstone in honor of Saint Salim Chisti, who foretold the birth of 3 sons to emperor Akbar, an example of robust stability combined with originality each important edifice here represents a type by itself. Notable among them is the Diwane Khas, Punch Mahal, The Tomb of Salim Chisti, and the Buland Darwaza, after visit continue drive to Jaipur and check into hotel. Evening enjoy the visit of Chokhi Dhani (An ethnic village) where you also enjoy Rajasthani dinner in traditional style.
Day 5 : Jaipur Sightseeing
Morning excursion to Amber Fort, situated outside the walled city, is perhaps the most beautiful example of Rajput forts. You can have the unique experience of riding on elephant back to the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur including, City Palace in the heart of Jaipur known for its blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum with its large collection of woodwork. Another monument near the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, is the largest of the five astronomical observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh-I, the founder ruler of Jaipur. Stop at Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds, a seven storied facade and one of the most picturesque landmarks constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen.
Day 6 : : Jaipur To Delhi (260 Kms. /4-5 Hours)
Drive to Delhi, check in the Hotel, free for your own activities.
Day 7 : Delhi To Amritsar By Train
(Train No.2497 Shane Punjab Departure Delhi at 0640 & Arrive Amritsar at 1415) Transfer to Delhi Railway station to catch your train for Amritsar. On arrival in Amritsar, you transfer hotel. In the evening, proceed to the Wagah Border (less than 30 kilometers from the city) between India and Pakistan, in an air-conditioned vehicle. . At Wagah Border, witness the ceremonial changing of guard, the march-past followed by the singing of national anthem and other patriotic songs. Solders parading in full swing and the sight of India-Pakistan border from such close quarters will evoke a sense of nostalgia.
Day 8 : Amritsar Sightseeing & Overnight Train To Delhi
(Train No.2904 Golden Temple Mail Departure Amritsar at 2125 & Arrive Delhi at 0635) Morning proceed on a sightseeing tour of Amritsar. Visit the famous Golden Temple located in the heart of the city, Jalianwallah Bagh, a memorial built to commemorate the martyrs of the 1919 massacre; the Durgiana Mandir, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga and Baba Atal Rai Tower. After exploring the historical landmarks of Amritsar, explore the market & in evening you will be transferred to railway station to catch train for back to Delhi.
Day 9 : Akshardham Sightseeing & Departure
Morning you will be transferred to International Airport.
