This village also acts as a base for trekkers hiking towards Sar Pass. Due to this, the route of Grahan trek is pretty well marked with red arrows all along the way. The villagers of Grahan village are very welcoming and hospitable. You will be delighted to see them doing their daily activities. The villagers are also honey-collectors and many of them trek into the dense forest of
high-mountains with huge rifles to shoo away bears lurking around the honeycomb. The taste of the honey is really different due to the nectars bees collect from high-mountain wildflowers. The best season to do

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Kasol - Grahan Village (9 km | 4-5 hrs)

  On reaching Kasol, the mini Israel of India, you will check in at the hotel to keep your belongings and get freshen up for an amazing village trek. After relaxing for a while and having a scrumptious breakfast, your
  trek to Grahan village will commence. The stunning trail will take you through the verdant forest, and the sound of gurgling water of Grahan Nala along the route will keep you hooked. The hike will take around 4-5
  hours with halts depending upon your pace.
  Once you reach the tiny village, you will check-in to your homestays. After a short rest, explore the village.
  Interact with the villagers, have a glimpse of the everyday life of the people, visit the beautiful temples of Grahan or indulge in some village activity. Accompany them in their work to have an understanding of the
  mountain life. Then, in the evening, you will be served with some lip-smacking snacks with tea. Later at night, have a delightful Himachali meal and sleep overnight at your homestay.

  Today, rise up to ascend towards sunrise viewpoint, from where the majestic views of the delightful Sar pass mountain ranges will spellbind you with its beauty. Then, after a tasty breakfast, you will descend
  towards Kasol through the same lush forest route. You will take around 4-5 hours to complete the stretch of 9km. In the midway, take rest nearby the Grahan Nala, fill up your water bottles or just sit laid-back within the nature. On reaching Kasol, you can spend the rest of the day at your own leisure, before starting your onward journey.
