Himachal Pradesh is a state in the northern portion of India. The state is famous for its scenic hill stations and natural beauty. Himachal Pradesh was earlier a union territory, but was declared as a state in 1971. The state has many perennial rivers. Shimla is its capital city and the languages spoken are Hindi, Dogri, Punjabi, Pahari and more. Tibetan language is also used in the upper Himalayas.

The major industries in the state are tourism, agriculture and hydroelectric power. The total area covered by the state is over 55,670 sq. kilometers. Hindus constitute most of the state's population. Himachal Pradesh is also the second least corrupt state, the first being Kerala.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Shimla

  Morning arrival at Chandigarh/Delhi Airport / Railway Station, & drive to Shimla. Arrival check-in to hotel. Evening visit to Mall road & The Ridge. overnight at hotel.

• Day 2 : Shimla Heritage Walk

  Morning after breakfast leave for Heritage walk (Westward walk) - Places covered: Scandal Point, General Post office, Grand Hotel, Ancient Temple of Kalibari, Gorton Castle; Now called AG office, Vidhan Sabha, Kennedy House; First permanent house of Shimla built in 1822, Indian Institute of Advance Studies; Formerly known as Vice regal Lodge, Birds' Sanctuary; Exotic, rare colorful birds, Himachal State Museum; Reflecting the cultural heritage of Himachal. overnight at hotel.

• Day 3 : Kufri Tour

  Morning proceed for excursion tour of Kufri a popular ski resort in winters, which offers some stunning mountain views. Also visit to Wild Flower Hall, Indira Mini Tourist Park, Chini Bungalow & Zoo. Evening back to hotel in Shimla for overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Shimla- Manali

  Morning check-out from to the hotel and departure from Shimla to Manali (265 kms / 7 - 8 hrs), located in the ancient Kullu Valley, surrounded by towering peaks at an arm length. Arrive and check in the hotel, Rest of the day is at leisure to visit the local markets, Overnight stay in Manali.

• Day 5 : Manali Local Sight Seeing

  Morning is at leisure, afternoon proceed to Visit the 450 years old Hadimba Devi Temple, the oldest temple in Manali, Tibetan center & monastery, Vashisht village, known for its hot Sulpher springs. Rest of the day is at leisure for shopping and individual activities, Overnight stay in Manali.

• Day 6 : Snow Point Tour

  Morning visit to Rohtang pass (51 Kms) or Snow point (up to snow line in the winter), which simply offers panoramic view of mountains rising far above the clouds & which are simply breathtaking. Late afternoon visit to Solang Valley. Evening back to Hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 7 : Manikaran Tour Via Naggar

  After breakfast leave to visit the Manikaran. On the way of Manikaran visit Naggar castle, Roerich art gallery, Jagatsukh Temple, Vaishno Temple, Angora rabbit form, Kullu shawl Industries. Enjoy the white water rafting in the Beas River ( Optional). Evening back to hotel in Manali for overnight stay.

  Morning check-out from the Hotel, transfer by road to Dharamshala (235 kms/7-8 hrs). Enroute visit to Mandi town, Palampur tea garden & Baijnath Temple. Dharamshala; magnificently set to the background of the Dhauldhar mountains and the seat of his Holiness, the Dalai Lama. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.

  Morning proceeds to Tibetan monastery in Mcleodganj (upper Dharamshala) a seat of Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama and Bhagsunag Temple and Waterfall. Rest of the day is at leisure or explores local Tibetan markets at the Mcleodganj, Overnight stay in Dharamshala.

• Day 10 : Dharamshala - Dalhousie

  Morning check out from the hotel & transfer by road to Dalhousie. Afternoon arrival Dalhousie & check-in to hotel.   Early Morning depart for sight-seeing tour to Khajjiar; Popularly known as the mini Swiss for its snow capped mountains and pine trees. View the five hills ranging offering breathtaking vies of the Dhauldhar mountain ranges. Visit to Kalatop, Chamba Town, Church & Khajjiar Lake. Evening back to hotel for overnight stay.

50 % advance to be deposited at the time of booking confirmation balance one week before tour Starts.
Check-In / Check-out time at all the properties would at 12:00 hrs (Noon).
All the above mentioned rates are per person on twin sharing basis.
Extra person will be 50% and child between 6-12 yrs will be charged 35% of the package amount.
Below 5 years child is complementary.
