Day 1 : Arrive Chennai
On arrival, you will be received by our representatives. You will then be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. Dinner and over night stay at the hotel.
Day 2 : Chennai - Mahabalipuram
Start your day with a delicious breakfast. After breakfast we drive you to Mahabalipuram via Kanchipuram, famous for its hand woven silk fabrics. On arrival, you are to check into the hotel. After fresh-up we take you to visit the Shore Temple which is an impressive display of early temple construction in South India and Penance of Bhagirata, the world's largest bas relief also known as ‘Arjuna's Penance’. Other important temples of Kanchipuram include the 16th century Ekambasreshwar Temple, Kamakshi Temple, dedicated to Parvati - The goddess with the eyes of love, and Vaikunta Perumal Temple & then to Mahabalipuram. Rest of the day, you can relax on the beach. Over night stay at Mahabalipuram hotel.
Day 3 : Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry
Morning, after breakfast, we drive you to Pondicherry. On arrival, you are to check into the hotel. Afternoon, we take you for a half day city tour to Aurobindo Ashram and Museum. Over night stay at Pondicherry.
Day 4 : Pondicherry - Thanjavur
Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Thanjavur. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon proceed for half day sightseeing tour of the city - visit to Brihadeswara Temple also known as the 'Big Temple', built by the Chola dynasty. This massive temple is 216 Day 05feet high and the single spherical stone on top weighs 80 tons. Thanjavur is known for its rich architecture, exquisite handicrafts, paintings, bronzes and South Indian Musical instruments. The other tourist places in Tanjore are Nandi (Bull), the Royal palace complex, which houses library and museums. Rest of the day free for leisure activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Thanjavur - Trichy
Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Madurai. Enroute visit Tricy - the most famous landmark of this bustling town is the Rock Fort Temple, a spectacular monument perched on a massive rocky outcrop which rises abruptly from the plain to tower over the old city. It is reached by a flight of steep steps cut into the rock and from its summit you get a fantastic view of the town plus its other main landmark, the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple. This temple is one of the largest and most interesting temple complexes in India, built on an island in the middle of the Cauvery River and covering a staggering 2.5 sq km. On arrival check into hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 : Trichy - Madurai
Begin your day with a scrumptious breakfast. Post breakfast, we drive you to Madurai. Rest of the day is for you to relax. Over night stay at Madurai.
Day 7 : In Madurai
Morning after breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Madurai visiting the famous Meenakshi Temple city's main attraction. This temple is nearly 2000 years old placed in the heart of the old town - a splendid example of Dravidian architecture. Visit Tirumalai Nayak Mahal This Indo-Saracenic building was constructed in 1523 and was originally four times large are today. Later visit the local shopping markets etc. Evening witness the pooja ceremony at Meenakshi temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 : Madurai - Periyar
On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon visit Spice Village located in the Periyar wilderness, high in the western ghats of Kerala. Pepper and cardamom, cinnamon and ginger, nutmeg, mace and anise the Periyar hills became nature's taste factory in the 14th century, as Cochin became nature's harbour, the port of lading for a spice-hungry world. it's the rainforests, the animals and the vast silences that attract the modern visitor. On the road to Spice Village, it's easy to feel this centuries-old allure yourself. The earth boils in a fertile outpouring, every conceivable shade of green, flecked with the crimson and gold of mountain flowers. This is a world of forests patterned in dappled sunlight. Plantations of rubber, coffee and spice. Rolling highlands and crisp, cool air. Rest of the day free for leisure activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 : Periyar - Trivandrum - Kovalam
In the morning, after breakfast, we drive you to Kovalam enroute visit Trivandrum. Rest of the day is for you to take rest. Over night stay at Kovalam.
Day 10 : In Kovalam
Wake up at your own gala time. This day is for you to relax or explore on your own. Evening, you are to return to the hotel for dinner and over night stay.
Day 11 : Kovalam - Kumarakom
After a delicious breakfast we drive you to Kotayam. On arrival, you are to board a Houseboat in backwaters to Kumarakom. Here you will experience an incredibly different experience to cruise in the backwaters in the houseboats (modified rice boats of the past), absorbing the beauty of Kerala villages. Over night stay Kumarakom.
Day 12 : In Kumarakom
Wake up afresh with a refreshing mind. Morning, we take you to visit the Bird Sanctuary. Rest of the day is for you to spend in leisure. Experience the fascinating natural beauty of this destination. Over night stay at Kumarakom.
Day 13 : Kumarakom - Cochin
Start your day with a healthy breakfast. Morning, you are to board a Houseboat in backwaters cruise to Alleppy. On arrival we will transfer you to Cochin. Rest of the day is for you to relax. Over night stay Cochin.
Day 14 : In Cochin
Morning, after breakfast, we take you to explore the city of Cochin. We take you to visit The Dutch Palace, Portuguese Churches, Mosques, Hindu temples, Fort Cochin, still keeping alive its ancient Jew tradition, St. Francis Church, Jew’s street and the Chinese fishing nets at Fort Cochin. Evening enjoy Katthakali dance show - a traditional art form of Kerala. Over night stay at Cochin.
Day 15 : Cochin - Bangalore - Mysore
After breakfast, we will transfer you to airport to connect flight for Bangalore. On arrival you would be met by our representatives and then will be driven to Mysore. On arrival, you are to check into the hotel. Over night stay at Mysore.
Day 16 : In Mysore
In the morning, after breakfast, we take you for a sightseeing tour of Mysore city visiting Visit Maharaja’s Palace built in 1911-12. The palace is of harmonious syntheses of the hindu and saracenic styles of architecture with archways, domes, turrets, colonnades ands culptures which are magnificent. Visit the Art Gallery; drive upto Chamundi hill to see Chamundeshwari Temple and a panoramic view of Mysore. On the way back, see the Nandi Bull. Rest of the day free for leisure activities. Overnight at hotel Mysore.
Day 17 : Mysore- Hassan
Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Hassan. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing tour of Hassan. Visit Hasanamba Shrine- The shrine with an anthill that represents Hasanamba, the presiding deity, is opened only once a year for a week, during the month of October and big fair or 'Jatra' is held during this time. District Museum- The museum is a small one but has a decent collection of sculptures, paintings, weapons, coins and inscriptions. Rest of the day free for leisure activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 18 : Hassan - Belur - Halebid - Hasan
Morning after breakfast proceeds for full day excursion sightseeing tour of Belur & Halebid. Belur- 40 km from Hassan, Belur was the erstwhile capital of Hoysala rulers 800 years ago and has beautiful temples and monuments built in ancient Hoysala architectural and sculptural style. Chennakesava temple of the 2nd century is an architectural wonder built on a star-shaped platform featuring bracket figures, intricate carvings on the stonewalls, the gravity pillar in the courtyard, exquisite panels and richly carved pillars, which are the masterpieces of craftsmanship. Another temple that is worth seeing here is Veeranarayana Temple with fine sculpted figures of various Hindu gods.
Halebid- 39 km from Hassan, Halebid was formerly known as Dwarasamudra, the ancient capital of the Hoysala Empire. The highlights of the city are the 12th century Hoysaleswara temple with friezes and sculptures depicting scenes from Hindu mythology and the Archaeological Museum displaying 12th-13th century sculptures, woodcarvings, idols, coins and inscriptions. Rest of the day free for leisure activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 19 : Hassan - Shravanbelagola - Bangalore
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast. After breakfast we drive you to Bangalore en-route visit Shravanbelgola. Here you can take a glimpse of the 17m high monolith of Lord Bahubali - the world's tallest monolithic statue. On arrival, you are to check into the Bangalore Hotel. In the afternoon we take you for a sightseeing tour of Bangalore city. You may visit Vidhan Saudha, Nandi Temple - One of the oldest temples of Bangalore, popularly known as the Bull Temple, in Basavanagudi and Lal Bagh Botanical garden. Over night stay at Bangalore Hotel.
Day 20 : Bangalore - Mumbai
Start your day with a hearty breakfast. After breakfast we transfer you to the airport to board a flight for Mumbai. On arrival, you are to check into the hotel. Over night stay at Mumbai.
Day 21 : Departure Mumbai
This is the last day of your tour. Therefore start your day with a delicious breakfast. After breakfast we transfer you to the International Airport to connect flight for your onward destination.

Booking of Tours:
As soon you are ready to proceed with the reservations, you will be required to send 20% of the total tour cost as an advance payment to make the booking. Apart from the 20% of the tour price, you would also need to pay us the full amount for air/train tickets to be issued.
As soon as the advance is received, we will initiate the bookings for your hotels reservations, book your tickets and start making necessary arrangements for your trip and keep you updated.
Once this is done, a reservation status will be sent to you. You will then be required to pay another 30% of the tour cost at this point.
Balance 50% of the tour price can be paid by you upon your arrival in India by cash, but before the commencement of the services. Alternatively you could pay by bank transfer a fortnight before your arrival.
Please note that the prices quoted are as per the prevailing foreign exchange conversion rates. The final price will therefore be subjected to fluctuations, if any, and will be accordingly adjusted at the time of receipt of payment.
** During peak season of Christmas and New Year (20 Dec to 05 Jan), the complete payment is required to be sent in advance.
** For Special Luxury Train Journeys, 25% of the fare is to be paid at the time of booking. Balance is to be 75 days prior to departure date.
Amendment to a Booked Tour
We do not encourage changes in the confirmed arrangements. But if you do need to make amendments in the arrangements already confirmed, we will do all possible to accommodate the changes, depending on the availability of various segments of the tour, for the new requirements. However, the changes will be subject to certain minimum amendment / administration charges.
Cancellation of a Booked Tour
We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to India, however we realize that there are many valid reasons that this can happen. Cancellation must be notified in writing and will take effect the day it is received by Heritage India Expeditions.
The following cancellation charges will apply: -
Cancellation of Luxury Train Journeys:
Cancellation of Flight Tickets: Flight Tickets booked are non refundable. Name change and date change can be considered as per the rules stipulated by the airline.
Cancellation of Wildlife Safaris: Wildlife safaris booked into any of Indian Wildlife National Park/Sanctuaries are non refundable. Even date change request will be considered as cancellation and no payment can be be refunded/ adjusted against it.
Please note that the prices quoted are as per the prevailing foreign exchange conversion rates. The final costing will therefore be subjected to fluctuations, if any, and will be accordingly adjusted at the time of receipt of payment.

Transacting online with a credit card at Heritage India Expeditions website is even safer than using a credit card at a gas station as we do not retain your credit card information. You can be assured that Heritage India Expeditions offers the highest standards of security currently available on the internet so as to ensure that your transaction experience is private, safe and secure Visa, Master, American express and Diners Cards payments are processed through our online payment gateway systems. Your bank will authorize the card transaction directly without passing any information through us. In a short while, your bank will issue an authorization code and confirmation of completion of transaction.
Payment through “Authorization”
Payments through credit card can be also be made through our OFFLINE mode. For adopting this mode, we shall require an “Authorization” authorizing us to charge your credit card.
Payment through “Bank Transfer”
Payments can be made through direct Bank remittances to our Bankers. Details of our Bank accounts will be provided by our Sales representatives.

Balance payment is to be made one week prior to start of the tour.

(3)Through "Authorization" only if itinerary is of more than 5 days and provided stay in Delhi is more than 2 days.
Other Terms and Conditions
The Users availing services from Heritage India Expeditions shall be considered and reckoned to have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions. Liabilities of Heritage India Expeditions shall be restricted to the scope of this agreement.
The User expressly agrees that use of the services is at their sole risk to the extent that Heritage India Expeditions acts only as a booking agent on behalf of third party service providers, and therefore, all services provided, shall be subject to "as is" and "as available" basis and shall be governed by the terms and conditions under which these services are provided by service providers. Further, Heritage India Expeditions shall not have any liability whatsoever for any aspect of the standards of services provided by the service providers.
The user agrees that there can be "Force Maj-ure" circumstances accruing out of acts of God, fire, weather, labour unrest, insolvency, operational and technical issues, etc resulting in the service providers such as airlines, hotels, transportation providers not able to honour confirmed bookings. In such an event Heritage India Expeditions shall not be responsible and shall have the right to change a schedule, booking, itinerary in the interest of safety, comfort and general well being of the user.
Heritage India Expeditions hereby expressly disclaims any implied warranties imputed by the laws of any jurisdiction or country and considers itself subject to the jurisdiction only of the courts of NCR of Delhi, India.
