Day 1 : Arrival
On arrival in Ahmadabad Airport/Railways station, our representative will meet and welcome you with flowers, transfer to the hotel, check in the hotel and after fresh up visit:- Ahmadabad Founded by Sultan Ahmad Shah in 1411, Ahmedabad, in the state of Gujarat, has grown into one of the most important modern cities of India. Straddling the Sabarmati River, this prosperous city of six million is a delight for archeologists, anthropologists, architects, historians, sociologists, traders, bargain hunters, and plain tourists. An exciting combination of traditions and modernism, Ahmedabad captures all visitors with its diversity of places, religious and ethnic communities. It is interesting to see how Indian atmosphere mix with the colonial British influence, how Hinduism, the world's oldest existing religion develops in the globalizing world. Akshardham Temple One of the largest temples in Gujarat dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan and spread across 23 acres of land, the majestic Akshardham Temple is built using 6000 tons of pink sandstone. The temple is an architectural marvel and a perfect blend of art, culture, education, devotion and exhibition. The Akshardham Temple is surrounded by a garden named Sahajanand Van which houses rides, swings and games for kids, a lake, a waterfall and a herbal garden. In an effort to educate visitors, three exhibition halls are set up in the temple premises.
Day 2 : Ahmedabad to Dhordo
After breakfast checkout from hotel and transfer to Dhordo, arrival and check in the hotel, after fresh up visit:- White Run of Kutch Kutch is a quiet haven though often overshadowed by neighboring Rajasthan. If you are looking for lots of color, generous doses of history, exquisite carvings, intricate art, flaming flamingos, flying cranes and different migratory birds, then Kutch, India is the ideal place for you. The pristine beauty of nature comes alive in the warmth of the people, the delicious food of the land, colorful handicrafts and the haunting Kacchhi melodies. The best time to visit is October to March and preferably plan the trip such that you are in the Great Rann of Kutch around the full moon. The white desert comes alive under the moonlight and the unending horizon merges into the moonlight. Rann Utsav is held every year between December and January portraying Kutch culture. In 2015, Rann Utsav will be held between 18th Nov 2015 and 23rd Feb 2016 and the 4 full moon nights are 25th November 2015; 25th December 2015, 24th January 2016 & 22nd February 2016. Day 3 : Dhordo to Jamnagar
After breakfast checkout from hotel and transfer to Jamnagar, arrival and check in the hotel, after fresh up visit:- Bala Hanuman Temple Bala Hanuman Temple is believed to be the oldest temple of Jamnagar founded by by Shri Prembhikshuji Maharaj in 1963-64. The continuous chanting of Rama Naam day and night is a unique characteristic of the temple that was started in the name of Shri Prembhikshuji Maharaj. It is because of this continuous chanting of Rama Naam, that the temple has been listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. Kotha Bastion Kotha Bastion is one of the most important destinations amongst all the Jamnagar attractions. It is counted amongst the most prized possessions of the city of Jamnagar. It has an amazing collection of copper plates, sculptures, inscriptions and the coins. It is famous for an old well from which water can be drawn out by simply blowing air in a hole. Positra Beach Positra Beach is a beautiful sandy beach is peaceful and quite relaxing. There are beautiful rocks and lovely view of the sea shore is amazingly beautiful. Tourists need to take permission from the Gujarat Forest Department to visit this place. Later back to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 4 : Jamnagar to Dwarka
After breakfast checkout from hotel and transfer to Dwarka, arrival and check in the hotel, after fresh up visit:- Dwarkadheesh Temple (Jagat Mandir) Dwarka is known all over the world for the Dwarkadheesh temple, the 'Lord of Dwarka'. This temple is also known as the Jagat Mandir or the temple of the world. This temple was constructed over 1400 years ago and houses the image of Lord Krishna. This temple is one of the most famous pilgrimage places for the Hindus and attracts pilgrims from all over the world. This temple is magnificently built on the traditional lines and has five floors supported by 60 columns. The temple is profusely carved from the base to the pinnacle. The temple is built of sandstone. Nageshwar Jyotirlingas Temple Nageshwar Temple or Nagnath Temple is one of the well-known Shiva shrines in the country. This temple symbolizes the confiscation of evil forces from earth. It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, this temple abodes an interesting legend about its origin. Shiv Purana describes the story about the temple and says that Lord Shiva started staying here in the form of Jyotirlinga after killing the devil named Daruka During Shivaratri, the temple gathers a huge crowd of devotees which almost changes the whole atmosphere into a place of festivities Rukmani Temple There is a popular temple dedicated to Rukmini, the Lord Krishna's wife, who is also considered as an incarnation of Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and beauty. There are various other temples which are dedicated to Mirabai and Narsinh Mehta and Shank Narayan. There is also a temple which is dedicated to the Matsyavatar, the incarnation of Vishnu as a fish.
Day 5 : Dwarka to Somnath
After breakfast checkout from hotel, on the way visit Porbandar (Kirti Temple, Sudama Temple and Shri Hari Temple) later drive to Somnath, arrival and check in the hotel, after fresh up visit:- Somnath Temple The Someshwar Mahadev temple stands tall among the temples of India. The construction of the present temple in Junagadh district began in 1950 Soma, the moon God built the temple in gold, Ravan in silver, Krishna in wood and king Bhimdev of Anhilwad in stone. Soma constructed the temple as a gesture after Lord Shiva cured him of his illness. This illness was caused by his father-in-law Daksha Prajapati curse. Daksha cursed him to wane as he was infatuated with Rohini and was neglecting the other 26 wives, all 26 of whom were the daughters of Prajapati. It is said that Brahma advised him to build the temple in honour of Shiva. Also enjoy the light & sound show Later back to the hotel and overnight stay
Day 6 : Departure
After breakfast checkout from hotel and transfer to Ahmedabad for departure to onward journey with all memories of Gujarat
