Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Ahmedabad

  Morning arrival at Ahmedabad. Meet to Greet and transfer to hotel. Later visit Akshardham Temple - Akshardham is situated in the capital city of Gandhinagar, which lies near Ahmedabad. The magnificent temple is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan. It was constructed on the directions of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the spiritual leader of BAPS Sanstha. The complex of this temple is the largest in Gujarat. Akshardham temple was inaugurated in the year 1992 and has become a major tourist attraction in India, during the last decade. It has a sprawling 23 acre area and is chiseled out in pink sandstone. Gandhi Ashram The beautiful ashram complex of Ahmedabad, with shady trees populated by thousand of paraketers, Beaters, sunbirds, squirells, offers a refuge from the loud streets of the city and is one of the foremost tourist attraction of Ahmedabad. This ashram was Gandhi’s head qquarters during the long struggle for Indian independence. His ashram was founded in 1915 and still makes handicrafts, handmade paper and spinning wheels. This ashram is open from 8.30 AM to 6.30 PM. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 2 : Ahmedabad- Jamnagar (330 KMS / 6 Hours approx)

  After breakfast check out from hotel & drive to Jamnagar check in hotel after rest in evening visits of Bala hanuman temple. Overnight Jamnagar.

• Day 3 : Jamnagar- Dwarka (150 KMS / 3 Hours approx)

  After breakfast check out and drive to Dwarka check in hotel .Overnight Dwarka.
• Day 4 : Dwarka

  Attend early morning Aarti at Dwarkadhish temple. Have breakfast & thereafter visit Bet Dwarka & Nageshwar Jyotirling.

• Day 5 : Dwarka- Somnath (240 KMS / 5 Hours approx)

  After breakfast check out and drive to Somnath enroute visits of Porbandar - Kirti Mandir, Sudama Temple… Later drives to Somnath, check in hotel after rest Visits of Somnath Temple, Bhalka Tirth… O/n Somnath.

  • Hotspots Somnath
• Day 6 : Somnath – Gir ( 70 Kms – 2hrs)

  Morning proceed for Sasan Gir. Afternoon safari to Gir National Park. Sasan Gir Lion sanctuary is home of some 300 Asiatic Lions. Sasan Gir is only place in world outside African continent where lion can be seen in its natural habitat. Overnight stay in hotel.
• Day 7 : Somnath- Bhavnagar (270 KMS / 5 -6 Hours approx)

  After Breakfast drive to Bhavnagar , Check in at Hotel. Afternoon hours. Visit of Bhavnagar. This city was founded as a port in 1723. It is still an important trading post for cotton goods. Visit the Gandhi Smriti which has a library, a small museum, gallery and memorial to the founder of India. Over night stay at hotel.
• Day 8 : Bhavnagar – Ahmedabad (200 KMS / 5 Hours approx)

  Today transfer to Ahmedabad. On arrival at Ahmedabad transfer to railway station for your onward journey.
