Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati - Shillong

  Arrive Guwahati and drive to Shillong with a halt for the tea break at Nongpoh. Evening visit the local market.Overnight stay at Shillong.
• Day 2 : Shillong/Mawlynnong

  After breakfast drive to Mawlynnong village(90 kms/3hrs), considered to be the cleanest village of India. The route to the village is through the winding roads and panoramic views traveling amidst the clouds in the Shillong plateau. On arrival, start trekking to see the living root bridge found here (about 400 meters from the roadside). After the trek ends, we will take a walk around the village and explore the lifestyle of the people of the village. Return to Shillong. Overnight Stay.

• Day 3 : Shillong/Cherrapunjee

  After morning breakfast, visit Cherrapunjee, the limestone caves, Seven Sister waterfalls, etc. Back to Shillong.Overnight stay.
• Day 4 : Shillong/Guwahati

  After morning breakfast, local sightseeing of Shillong like Ward’s Lake, Botanical Garden, Butterfly Park and then check out from hotel andproceed for Guwahati. Check in at hotel. Evening river cruise in the mighty Brahmaputra river. Overnight stay.

• Day 5 : Guwahati Local Tour

  Morning breakfast and check out from hotel, on the way visit Kamakhya templeand proceed for onward journey. Tour Ends.
