Day 1 : Guwahati - Shillong
Pickup from Guwahati Airport / Railway Station then transfer to Shillong (Capital of Meghalaya- Shillong (1496 m), the capital city has a number of beautiful sites like Shillong peak (10 km from Shillong,), at an altitude of 1965 metre, offers a dazzling view of the idyllic surroundings. Butterfly Museum (closed on Sundays) is another interesting place to visit. One of the most celebrated sacred-groves of the State is the grove at Mawphlang about 25 kilometres off Shillong. This particular grove has for long years been a reservoir of interest for eminent and internationally known botanists. The sacred-groves, which make a unique contribution to the flora and avi-fauna of the State, are undoubtedly of immense interest to all naturalists. Overnight at Shillong. Day 2 : Shillong - Cherrapunji - Shillong
After breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee, (1300 m) and its surroundings areas are blessed with many breathtaking views of nature in her pristine beauty with cool springs, mind soothing waves of thick green jungle foliage, gurgling mountain streams finding their way through rocks, enthralling milky white waterfalls leaping into deep gorges in a thunderous applause to the record-breaking rainfall that resounds through the valley. During the monsoon months it is a thrill to catch sight of nature in the prime of her beauty when the clouds lift their mantle over her for fleeting moments. Cherrapunjee has the distinction of being the wettest place on Earth, having the highest recorded rainfall, year after year. The Caves of Cherrapunjee- Mawsmai and Mawmluh, are the longest limestone caves in India, formed over 3500 years, a must go destination for cavers and adventurists. Other attractions - Cherrapunjee View Point, Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls and Eco Park Back to Shillong, Overnight at Shillong.
Day 3 : Shillong - Kaziranga National Park
Morning after breakfast check out from hotel you will be visit for shilling local tour which is include:
Shillong Peak: It is the highest point of Shillong, located in the upper Shillong an an altitude of 1961 meters (6,433 feet). The name Shillong originated from "Leishyllong" meaning god who is believed to live on the Shillong peak, overlooking the city. It is located 5 kilometers away from Shillong and on a clear day one can enjoy the beautiful view of the entire city.
Elephant Falls: Located in the Upper Shillong 10 kms away from the Shillong town it is one of the majestic waterfalls in Meghalaya. The water of this three steps falls comes down in flows from different levels over the fern-covered rocks and falls into the canyon down below. In the morning it forms a wonderful sight when the sun rays fall on the cascades of water creating the rainbow colors. The best time to visit the waterfalls is during the monsoon when it offers a breath-taking scenery. The forests covered with ferns and thick bamboo grooves are also worth visited for the nature lovers to find the presence of various species of butterflies, birds and orchids.
Wards Lake: Wards Lake is located in the heart of the Shillong City adjoining to the Governor’s Residence. Shaped like a horseshoe, it is one of the prominent hang-out spot in Shillong. This century old lake was built by an engineer named Mr. Pollock. Hence it is also known to be as "Polok's Lake". One can opt for boating and pleasant walks on the cobbled sand stone pathways covered with varieties of flowers. The lake also has an arched bridge from where one can feed the fish After that transfer to Kaziranga National Park.
Kaziranga: a world heritage site, spread over 858 sq.kms and is located in the floodplains on both sides of the Brahmaputra. The park hosts two-thirds of the world’s Great One-horned rhinoceros. The park is divided into five ranges - Central (entry point at Kohora), Western (entry point at Bagori), Eastern (at Agratoli), Western-most Burha Pahar (at Ghorakati) and Northern. The first four lie on the southern side of the river while the last is on the northern bank. It is also home to nine of 14 primate species found across south india, the purest breed of Asiatic water buffalo and one of the largest herds of Asian Elephants. Check in at hotel.

Day 4 : Kaziranga Elephant Safari
Early morning go for Elephant ride (subject to availability) at 5AM. Back to Hotel for Breakfast. Go for Jeep safari (subject to availability) in the Central Range. Back to Hotel, and taking Lunch, Evening go for visit Tea Garden. Back to Hotel; Night Stay.
Day 5 : Kaziranga - Guwahati
After breakfast check out from hotel you will be proceed to Guwahati Situated on the banks of the mighty river Brahmaputra, at an altitude of 55 meters above sea level, Guwahati is the junction of three important roads, National Highways 31, 37 and 40. It is split into two parts by the river Brahmaputra and North Guwahati. The most famous Kamakhya Temple tucked away in the serenity of the Nilachal hills in Guwahati. This Shakti temple has a cluster of different temples of Devi Kali, Bhairavi, Tara and others and is a pilgrimage destination for people across the country. Upon arrival check into a hotel after taking refreshment you will be visit for local Guwahati city tour include :- Balaji Temple, Baisistha Ashram, State Zoo, Navagraha Temple, State Museum etc. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day 6 : Guwahati - Airport / Railway Station
Today is your last day after breakfast check out from hotel will be visit to Maa Kamakshya Devi Temple which is The origin of Kamakhya Temple is pre Aryan situated atop the Nilachal Hill. The formost shrine of Assam, The Kamakhya is an ancient seat of Tantric and shakti Cults of Hinduism. The original temple was destroyed by the invading Muslims in their crusade against Hindu temples and idols in the early part of 16th century. Ultimately it was restored from ruins by King Naranarayan of the Koch dynasty and rebuilt in its present . After that visit to Fancy Bazaar which is the biggest market of Guwahati where you can buy different types of local and others products.
