Some of the famous destination in and around Shillong is Lady Hydari Park, Shillong Peak, Ward Lake, Golf Course and many Cathedrals. Cherrapunji is situated about 56 kms away from Shillong. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati/Shillong (110 kms/4 Hrs)

  Transfer to Shillong from Airport/Rly Station on the day of arrival. Enro ut Borapani Lake and arrive shillong. Check in at hotel. After Lunch Local sightseeing in Shillong covering Ward’s Lake, Don Bosco Church, Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, Local market (closed on Sundays). Overnight in Shillong.

• Day 2 : Shillong/Cherrapunji (68 kms/2 hrs)

  7 am :Day long excursion to Cherrapunji and back to Shillong. Major attractions Mausmai Caves, Eco Park, Waterfalls and many view points. Return to Shillong and Overnight Stay.

• Day 3 : Shillong/Kaziranga (300 kms/6 hrs)

  7 am start to Kaziranga National Park.Arrive and check in to the hotel, freshen up. Evening enjoy folk dance of Assam by local artists.Overnight at hotel.

• Day 4 : Kaziranga/Guwahati

  Early morning at 5 am explore Western Zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of elephant. Apart from world's endangered One-horned Rhinoceros, the Park sustains half the world's population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1000 Wild elephants and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tigers anywhere. Kaziranga is also a bird watcher's paradise and home to some 500 species of birds. The Crested Serpent Eagle, Palla's Fishing Eagle, Greyheaded Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed goose, whistling Teal, Bengal Florican, Storks, Herons and Pelicans are some of the species found here.We will return to the resort for breakfast. Later transfer to Guwahati to catch your onward Train/Flight.
