Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Guwahati Airport/Station and transfer to Guwahati Hotel

  Welcome to Guwahati – the Gateway of North East. Pick up from Guwahati Airport/ Railway Station and drop at hotel. Evening you can go for Brahmaputra river cruise and enjoy the beauty of the mighty river.

• Day 2 : Expedition to Guwahati Sightseeing and further to Shillong

  Early morning visit Kamakhya Temple. Then head towards the Borapani Umiam Lake,a tranquil lake surrounded by sylvan hills with a mesmerizing view. Post drive straight to Shillong , Check in at hotel and after refreshment visit local market . Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 3 : Excursion to Mawlynnong/Dawki

  Post breakfast pick up and head towards Mawlynnong . Here one can view the fascinating Living root bridge and Mawlynnong Village, Asia’s cleanest village. Later drive to Dawki. Visit Umgot river and local sightseeing at Dawki. Also visit Bangladesh border. Evening back to Shillong for overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Excursion to Cherrapunji

  Morning after breakfast drive towards Cherrapunji also known as Sohra , the world’s wettest town which receives heaviest rainfall in the world . On the way comes Mawkdok Valley where we will stop to explore Mawsmai Cave. Further drive to Cherrapunji visit Nohkalikai falls , world’s fourth tallest waterfalls. Later visit Eco park and Seven sisters falls. Post activity back to Shillong for overnight stay.

• Day 5 : Drive to Laitlum Grand Canyon

  Morning after breakfast head to Shillong peak and Elephanta falls. Further visit Laithlum Grand Canyon. The Laithlum Canyon is one such spot from where the vast, verdant and fascinating panorama of Meghalaya could be viewed and admired. The scenic hill slopes of Laitlum are often called the amphitheater of Meghalaya. The residents literally farm on the edges of these mist-shrouded cliffs that plunge sharply into the valley below. Evening back to Shillong for overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Excursion to Krang Shuri

  Post breakfast in the morning visit Krang Shuri water falls which is situated near Jowai. It is very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. Also surrounded by greenery and big rocks. Post activity back to Shillong for overnight stay.

• Day 7 : Visit to Mawphlang

  Post breakfast in the morning drive to Mawphlang, a village in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya. It is the site of one of the Khasi Hills sacred groves. Evening back to Shillong for overnight stay.

• Day 8 : Shift to Kaziranga

  Morning after breakfast drive towards Kaziranga. Explore the local tea estate at Kaziranga and Orchid Garden. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

• Day 9 : Kaziranga Forest Activities

  Early morning (5:00 am) explore Kaziranga National Park on Elephant Safari. Then explore the eastern range on a jeep safari where you will see Hog Deers, Sambhars and One horn Rhinos feeding in the plentiful. Post activity stay in Kaziranga

• Day 10 : Guwahati Airport/ Railway Station Drop

  Morning drive to Guwahati and drop at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station.
